Desculpem a minha ausência aqui e nos vossos blogs mas para a semana que vem eu conto a razão.
Hoje quero-vos falar de uma grande festa que acontece em Coimbra, esta é uma cidade universitária, para ela vêm estudantes de toda a parte do país e do estrangeiro, cerca de 30 000 estudantes. A universidade de Coimbra é uma das mais antigas do mundo tendo este ano comemorado 728 anos e, em 2013 foi declarada Património Mundial pela UNESCO.
Todos os anos em Maio acontece a maior festa de estudantes chamada a Queima das Fitas, a festa dura uma semana e, num desses dias, ao domingo, há o chamado cortejo da Queima. Os alunos ao longo do ano vão angariando dinheiro para ornamentar carros com flores de papel feitas por eles, e desfilam pelas principais ruas da cidade. São cerca de 100 carros. A cidade enche-se de pessoas que vêm ver o desfile e dos familiares dos alunos.

I want to tell you about a big party that happens in Coimbra, this is a
university city, there are students from all over the country and
abroad to study here, about 30 000 students. The
University of Coimbra is one of the oldest in the world having this year
celebrated 728 years and in 2013 was declared a World Heritage by
UNESCO.
Every year in May there is the
biggest student party called Queima das Fitas (Ribbon Burning), the party lasts a week
and on one of those days, on Sunday, there is the so-called parade. Students throughout the year raise money
to decorate cars with paper flowers made by them, and parade through the
main streets of the city. There are about 100 cars. The
city is full of people who come to see the parade and the families
of the students to see them dressed in the academic dress and parade.
As pessoas atropelam-se pela rua para ver o desfile, foi impossível fotografar o look no meio da multidão, pelo que escolhi um local mais recolhido para o fazer.
People
trample down the street to see the parade, it was impossible to
photograph the look in the crowd, so I chose a quieter place to do it.
Cada curso tem uma cor, como eu andei em dois cursos, primeiro Arquitectura, que não acabei, as cores são o azul claro e branco. Como acabei por fazer o curso de Economia as cores são o vermelho e branco. Uma das características desses carros é mandar umas mensagens de protesto ao governo, falar na crise que se vive, o desemprego jovem e, os problemas sociais do país.
Each course has a color, as I attended two courses, first Architecture, I didn't finish, the colors are light blue and white. As I graduated in Economics the colors are red and white. One
of the characteristics of these cars is to send protest messages to the
government, talk about the crisis that is being experienced, youth
unemployment and the social problems of the country.
Este carro que estão a ver é de Psicologia, a cor é o cor de laranja e a figura principal é o Donald Trump, as preocupações são até internacionais. Acham que o Trump precisa de um psicólogo ou de um psiquiatra?

Os alunos do último ano usam cartola e bengala, mas vocês devem se estar a interrogar, então se o teu curso é vermelho e branco, porque é que estás de amarelo?

Estou de amarelo, porque esta é a cor do curso de Medicina e desde que eu ando a tirar este curso no Google, que esta passou a ser a minha cor ahahahah. A principal preocupação dos estudantes de Medicina é terem colocação para tirarem uma especialidade médica, é que não há vagas para todos. Eles à espera de vaga e eu à espera do resultados dos exames que fiz recentemente, daí a minha cara de aborrecimento!!!
I am yellow
because this is the color of the Medicine course and since I am studing this course in Google, this is my color now ahahahah. The main concern of medical students is to have a place to take a medical specialty, there are no vacancies for everyone. They waiting for vacancy and I waiting for the results of the exams I did recently, hence my face of annoyance !!!
O outro lado da Queima, durante o cortejo são consumidos litros e litros de cerveja, é uma das festas em que se consome mais cerveja, as ruas ficam cheias de lixo como podem ver, mas assim que sai o último carro a câmara municipal tem uma brigada especial para começar imediatamente a limpeza da ruas. Só neste dia são recolhidas 25 toneladas de lixo. As bebedeiras são mais que muitas, as ambulâncias estão de prontidão total para socorrer os entram em coma alcoólico, é um corre corre de ambulâncias!! Há muitos mais acontecimentos durante esta semana, mas haverá no futuro muitas mais oportunidades para falar disso aqui no blog.
The other

I go to the Continente hypermarket I have to make a stop to see the

Quando terminei a faculdade fui fazer um estágio num banco, foi em 1999. E como sabem o dress code de um funcionário bancário é o fato. Este é um dos fatos que usei nessa altura, confesso que fiquei a odiar, é demasiado formal!!! Nem posso vê-los!!! Esta foi a maneira que encontrei para o vestir sem parecer uma executiva, resolvi dar-lhe um toque mais sporty chic, ou dandy, mas sem parecer um homem, um ar mais feminino com os acessórios certos, como o cinto, e enriquecer o look, como esta blusa de laço, a mochila e os sapatos blucher prateados.

finished college I went to an internship in a bank, it was in 1999. And
as you know the dress code of a bank employee is the suit. This is one of the suits I used at that time, I confess I hate it now, it's too formal !!! I can't even see them !!! This
was the way I found to dress it without looking like an
executive, I decided to give it a more sporty chic touch, or maybe a
dandy touch, but without looking like a man, give it a feminine touch
with the right accessories like the belt, and enrich the look, with this bow blouse, backpack and silver blucher shoes.
A propósito, no outro dia tive que ir ao banco e estavam 5 pessoas a trabalhar, eu era a única cliente, objectivamente esta máquina que estão a ver atrás de mim - o multibanco - é responsável pela destruição de milhares de empregos por todo o mundo. Mas no limite, quando o trabalho humano for todo substituído por máquinas, para que é que elas nos servirão se não tivermos, por exemplo, dinheiro para levantar nelas? Se a investigação científica está a ser feita para desenvolver a inteligência artificial no sentido de substituir o homem, não serão as máquinas a dominar o mundo como no filme Exterminador Implacável, em que os humanos eram dominados por máquinas inteligentes. Não estaremos a criar a nossa própria escravatura?

desenvolvimento tecnológico, não será altura de repensar as políticas de
segurança e protecção social? Por exemplo colocar as máquinas a
descontar para a Segurança Social e a pagar impostos? Eu já abordei este tema em 2014 neste
post aqui. Não é uma ideia nova para mim, se as
máquinas nos substituírem elas têm também de garantir a nossa
sobrevivência, de que nos servirá aquilo que elas produzirem senão
tivermos dinheiro para as comprar!!!
Every year
thousands of jobs are destroyed due to technological development, isn't
it time to rethink security and social protection policies? For example put the machines to pay Social Security and pay taxes? I already mentioned this issue in 2014 in this post here. It
isn't a new idea for me, if machines replace us they also have to
guarantee our survival, what use to us what they produce unless we
have the money to buy them !!!
O caminho da ciência deveria ser no sentido de desenvolver a inteligência artificial para
políticos incorruptíveis e se acabasse de vez com o trabalho humano dos
políticos, para que eles possam sentir na pele o que é ser substituído
por uma máquina! E, em vez de votarmos em políticos corruptos votaríamos
em máquinas programadas para serem incorruptíveis, que cumprissem o que
prometem, que não salvassem bancos da falência com o dinheiro dos
contribuintes! Que estivessem ao serviço da humanidade e não de interesses
pessoais e do capital. A riqueza do mundo não pode estar concentrada num numero tão reduzido de pessoas conseguido à custa da destruição do trabalho humano e com as benesses de políticos que comem na mão desses interesses.
The path of
science should be to develop artificial intelligence for incorruptible
politicians and get rid of politicians human work so they can feel what
it takes to be replaced by a machine! And instead of
voting for corrupt politicians, we would vote for machines programmed to
be incorruptible, to keep what they promise, not to save banks from
bankruptcy with taxpayers' money! To serve humanity and not personal interests and capital interests. The world's
wealth can't be concentrated in such a small number of
people at the expense of the destruction of human labor and with the
blessings of politicians who eating out of the hand of those interests.

Fui ver a Feira Medieval da Figueira da Foz. E apaixonei-me por estas lindas portas fechadas, o que será que está para lá delas? Uma questão polémica!!! Não fui vestida de qualquer maneira, fui assim numa espécie de Joana D'Arc, não era portuguesa! Mas talvez seja a mulher medieval mais famosa, assim um misto de mulher-homem, chefe militar na Guerra dos Cem Anos. Ela vestia-se de homem, segundo os historiadores, para evitar abusos sexuais. Foi isso que tentei retratar com a minha roupa, a masculinidade de um cinto e calças, mas com uma coroa de flores e um cestinho na mão, porque afinal de contas aquela guerreira era uma mulher. Mas será que ela se via e sentia como uma mulher?

Esta questão da mulher-homem remete-nos para uma discussão que está na ordem do dia: A Identidade de Género, ou seja, o modo como uma pessoa se identifica com o seu género, masculino ou feminino. Quando a pessoa não se identifica com o seu género, designa-se por transgénero. Quando se identifica com o seu género, por exemplo eu sou do sexo feminino e identifico-me como uma mulher, então eu sou cisgénero, quando a pessoa não se identifica com nenhum dos géneros designa-se por não-binário. É claro que isto são questões que não se colocavam na Idade Média!!! Mas colocam-se actualmente e, até há quem defenda que se deixe de colocar no nosso documento de identificação o género, masculino ou feminino. Acham que a Joana D'Arc era um indivíduo Transgénero? Espero não estar a cometer uma heresia, pois esta heroína francesa foi canonizada e declarada Santa Joana D'Arc!!!
This

Apesar de se considerar a Idade Média como a idade das trevas, o papel da mulher alterou-se, face ao que a Antiguidade Clássica defendia, a mulher como uma divindade. A mulher passou a ter autonomia para prosseguir os seus negócios, trabalhava a terra, tinha uma profissão, eram padeiras, tecedeiras, peixeiras, abadessas, e algumas até com poder político, como no caso belga. Mas se a Idade Média conseguiu enquadrar este novo papel da mulher, será que as sociedades modernas conseguem responder às questões da Identidade de Género? É uma questão polémica, os sectores mais conservadores da sociedade são fortes opositores. Será que as portas vão continuar fechadas para estas pessoas? No Canadá um bebé recebeu um cartão de saúde sem a identificação do género, Há já países a preparem legislação para aceitarem um terceiro género no documento de Identificação. O que pensam sobre este assunto? Contem-me tudo nos comentários, vou adorar ler!!!
Although
the Middle Ages were considered the dark ages, the woman's role was
altered, as opposed to what Classical Antiquity defended, the woman as a
divinity. The woman had autonomy to continue her business,
worked the land, had a profession, were bakers, weavers, fishmongers,
abbesses, and some even with political power, as in the Belgium case. But
if the Middle Ages succeeded in place this new role of women, could
modern societies be able to respond to the issues of Gender Identity? It's a controversial issue, the most conservative sectors of society are strong opponents. Will the doors still remain closed to these people? In
Canada, a baby received a health card without gender identification.
There are countries already preparing legislation to accept a third

AVISO: Este é um post que contém muita violência verbal e muito sangue derramado!!!
Ontem foi Dia do Trabalhador e, por isso quero tecer algumas considerações sobre os trabalhadores portugueses em especial os que ganham o ordenado mínimo nacional cerca de 580€ e, são cada vez mais!!!. Mas, sobre este assunto falarei mais à frente neste post, agora quero vos falar neste pilar em que estou a encostada na foto. Em Portugal chama-se PINO e, estão a ser colocados PINOS pelas principais cidades europeias para evitar ataques terroristas com veículos. Aqui, não se trata disso, é mesmo para evitar que os carros estacionem na ciclovia, felizmente nunca aconteceu um ataque terrorista em Portugal.... Mas o que é verdade é que os portugueses sofrem ataques terroristas diariamente!!!

ataque terrorista sempre que pagam as despesas de casa, como a
electricidade, água e gás. Como em Portugal não existe uma rede de
transportes públicos que sirva as populações, os portugueses têm
forçosamente que ter carro para se deslocarem para o trabalho e, com este salário, um
casal tem de forçosamente de trabalhar os dois, por isso têm de ter dois carros,
se não sabem os impostos que incidem sobre um automóvel em Portugal são
tão elevados que um carro que em França custa 15000€ em Portugal o mesmo
carro custa 25000€!! É mais um ataque terrorista daqueles com muitas vítimas!!. Sempre que abastecem o
automóvel de gasolina os portugueses ficam todos estropiados no ataque
terrorista que é o preço da gasolina, dos mais caros da Europa. Sofrem um
ataque terrorista com a educação dos filhos, ninguém aguenta o preço dos
livros escolares e as propinas das Universidades!!!
Digamos que os portugueses andam desfeitos em pedaços para conseguirem pagar as contas!!!

simboliza Portugal, é um dos melhores países para se viver, sem dúvida,
mas toda a rosa tem os seus espinhos que até podem ser simbolizados por
estes PINOS. E combinei-o com as minhas Destroyed Jeans (calças rotas)
que simboliza o estado em que os portugueses ficam quando se aproxima o
fim dos mês, literalmente todos rotos!!! Uns tennis por fim porque o
melhor é mesmo andar a pé!!!
About my

PINOS. And I paired it with my Destroyed Jeans that symbolizes the state in which the Portuguese are
when the end of the month approaches, literally all destroyed!!! A snikers at last because it is best way is to walk !!!
Para finalizar, existe também uma expressão portuguesa que diz "fazer o
PINO", significa ficar de pernas para o ar, mas mataforicamente significa as acrobacias, o triplo mortal encorpado à frente, que os
portugueses têm de fazer para que com 580€ e, depois de pagarem aquelas
contas todas que falei anteriormente, consigam ter dinheiro para
comer!!! Só mesmo a FAZER O PINO!!!!
Finally,
there is also a Portuguese expression that says "to do the PINO" means
to stand upside down or do a handstand!, but metaphorically it means the
acrobatics, triple-flip roll with a double leap that the Portuguese have to do so with 580 € and, after paying all those accounts that I spoke earlier, they could have money to eat !!! Just doing the PINO (do a hanstand)!!!!
