Look Nº 602 - The Pandemic Diary!

 O nosso Presidente da Republica veio comunicar ao povo português para não criar espectativas excessivas em relação à vacinação! O que ele quis dizer com isto? Descodificando, vacinar toda a população portuguesa  vai demorar m-e-s-e-s! 

Our President of the Republic came to inform the Portuguese people that they don't create excessive expectations regarding vaccination! What did he mean by that? Decoding, vaccinating the entire Portuguese population will take m-o-n-t-h-s!

Os países que o conseguirem fazer mais rapidamente, serão aqueles, que mais rapidamente, sairão da crise. Portanto, ou Portugal se posiciona na União Europeia, não no sentido de passar à frente de outros países, mas debater-se para que a distribuição das vacinas seja justa e equitativa, correndo o risco de sair desta crise ainda mais pobre e, ainda mais na cauda da Europa do que estávamos antes da Pandemia começar. Isto é dramático e uma vergonha para os nossos governantes se tal acontecer. O desafio da vacinação, neste momento, é mais importante que qualquer plano de recuperação económica!!

The countries that are able to do this most quickly will be those that will most quickly come out of the crisis. Therefore, or Portugal is positioned in the European Union, not in the sense of passing ahead of other countries, but struggling to ensure that the distribution of vaccines is fair and equitable, or it will emerge from this crisis even poorer than we were before the Pandemic began. and, this is dramatic and a shame for our leaders. The challenge of vaccination, at this point, is more important than any economic recovery plan!!
