It is the month of the Popular Saints—Saint Anthony, Saint John, and Saint Peter—three figures of popular religiosity! Throughout the month, many Portuguese cities and towns celebrate municipal holidays associated with each saint, reinforcing the local character of these festivities. It is a time of revelry, reunions, dancing, with the famous popular marches that last until dawn, and national pride in these popular traditions. June is undoubtedly a month of great fun from the Portuguese people and you can eat the famous Portuguese sardines! So, I present to you 5 looks that could very well be outfits to wear during these crazy festivities, with lots of charm, comfort, and joy for the popular festivals, because there's no time to waste on clothes during this lively time of year!
