Olá! Bem-vindos meus caros amigos e leitores!
Hello! Welcome, my dear friends and readers! This beautiful English-style telephone box is actually a reading booth. At the top, you can read the following inscription: Stray Book Booth: which means that anyone who uses it can take a book, but must leave another one behind. It's a lovely concept, don't you think?
To give you some context for this post, I must first tell you that this blog is a kind of digital diary, where I talk about my life! It's true, many people are led to believe that what is shown on social media are perfect lives, full of glamour and wealth. But that's not true! In this post, I talked about how I paid for my studies after my father's death. I've never deluded you into thinking that life is easy, because life is full of challenges and tests!
All this to tell you that when I went to study, I didn't go with the aim of getting a degree. I don't think that goal ever crossed my mind, but as I progressed in my studies and was always the best student, that path of higher education ended up becoming a reality. As for the various subjects, I always loved science and maths! Although I was good at foreign languages, they were always my Achilles heel!
The posts are translated using magical translators. I've used several, because why not take advantage of technology? On the other hand, it would be unthinkable for me to translate huge posts, and with the frequency with which I publish them, I wouldn't get anything else done! The purpose of this blog is to be fun and therapeutic, not to work on it day and night!

I hope you found this information useful! As a soundtrack for this post, I chose a song by the queen of pop, Madonna: ‘Hung Up’! It's about someone who got tired of waiting for a phone call and decided to hang up, and, I might add, she devoted herself to reading!!

ResponderEliminarAwesome photoshoot! & a great message too! So cool there are telephone booths there and making such wonderful libraries! People here do have little libraries for the youngster with miniature places like the one you are showing. I noticed recently in an old mall that isn't nearly thriving like it used to had a free library and a cozy place where you could sit and read from their donated shelves of books which I thought was a great idea. There are many who come there to walk and a food court is there, as well. Such a great lady in red! Thanks for the beautiful post. I wish I was better with languages. (✿◡‿◡)
