E, o que vestir para uma entrevista de emprego!! Candidatos ponham as mãos no ar!!! Esqueçam o modelo euro-pass, esqueçam aqueles modelos saídos dos programas tirados na internet, esqueçam os videos promocionais sobre vocês ou até mesmo aquelas ideias outside de box!!! Porque este método é garantido e infalível!!! Ah já devem estar a morrer de curiosidade, não???

Agora devem estar-se a perguntar qual a relação desta história do CV com o lugar onde me encontro nas fotos, mas eu explico: estou ao portão da CCDRC em Coimbra (digamos que é um comissão regional que gere a atribuição dos dinheiros que vêm da União Europeia, entre outras atribuições).

Quando terminei o curso de Economia fui a uma entrevista a esta comissão, fui entrevistada por três pessoas, durante a entrevista foram-me feitas diversas perguntas, ~~como é normal em entrevistas de emprego~~, mas foi-me feita uma em especial, quais tinham sido as minhas notas em Matemática e em Estatística na faculdade, se há quem se socorra do pedigree e dos avós, eu também tenho o direito de puxar dos galões que são fruto do meu trabalho, eu fui a melhor aluna nestas cadeiras de toda a Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra!!! Quando eu disse as minhas notas uma das pessoas que estava a fazer a entrevista murmurou qualquer coisa ao ouvido da outra, qualquer coisa do tipo "estás a ver". A entrevista terminou e nunca mais me contactaram.

But what is the relation of the CV history with the place where I am in the photos, but I explain: I am at the gate of the CCDRC in Coimbra (let's say it is a regional commission that manages the allocation of the money coming from European Union, among other things).When I finished the Economics course I went to an interview with this commission, I was interviewed by three persons, during the interview they asked me several questions, ~~as is normal in job interviews~~, but it was made one in particular, which had been my notes/grades in Mathematics and in Statistics in the university, if there are those who help themselves of the pedigree and the grandparents, I also have the right to present the fruit of my studies, I was the best student in these subjects of the entire Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra !!! When I said my notes/grades one of the persons who was doing the interview muttered something in the other's ear, something like "you see this" .The interview ended and they never contacted me again.

Sendo as notas daquelas cadeiras determinantes para a atribuição do lugar estranhei não me terem contactado, pelo que tentei me informar sobre quem tinha recaído a escolha. Soube que o lugar foi atribuído a uma pessoa com o curso de Geografia (neste curso a única coisa que sabem de estatística é calcular a média e a moda), mas falta um pormenor que faz toda a diferença, esta pessoa era de boas famílias de Coimbra, ou seja tinha pedigree e muitos avós!!! Eu tinha notas mas faltava-me o pedigree e os avós!!! E para trabalhar nestes organismos públicos o saber e o conhecimento não interessam para nada!!! Esta bonita casa que estão a ver era também de uma família abastada que deixou de ter dinheiro para conseguir fazer a sua manutenção, então o estado com dinheiro dos contribuintes comprou-a. E chamam a Portugal uma República?

The notes/Grades of those subjects determining the assignment of the job and they don't contacted me, I was intrigued, so I tried to inform myself about who had relapsed the job. I Knew that the place was assigned to a person with the Geography course (in this course the only thing they know about statistics is to calculate the average and modes), but it lacks a detail that makes all the difference, this person was from traditional families of Coimbra, he had pedigree and many grandparents !!! I had notes/grades but no pedigree and the no grandparents !!! And to work in these public comissions knowledge don't matter at all !!! This beautiful house you are seeing was also from a wealthy family who stopped having money to be able to do their maintenance, so the state with taxpayers' money bought it. And they call Portugal a Republic?

Quanto ao meu look, considerem-no como uma proposta de look para ir a uma entrevista de emprego, ~~eu já me deixei disso pela minha saúde mental~~, mostrem logo quem vocês são é um conselho, a bem dizer nem sequer interessa como vão vestidas, mas pelo sim pelo não, levem uma cábula com os nomes dos vossos avós assim até à 15ª geração de preferência!!! O único pedigree que vejo no meu nome (Cavaleiro) é com o Cavaleiro da Triste Figura, um D. Quixote a lutar contra moinhos de vento, símbolo das causas perdidas e inspiração para gente sonhadora!!! Mas esse era espanhol!!!

E vocês, têm pedigree e muitos avós???

The only pedigree I see in my name (Cavaleiro=Knight) is with the Knight of the Sad Figure, a Don Quixote fighting against windmills, symbol of lost causes and inspiration for dreamy people !!!But this Knight was Spanish !!! Look nº 378 - Golden Hour!

Hoje vou encarnar o espírito da Miss Universo e só vou falar de futilidades, daquelas que todas as mulheres gostam: Roupa!!! Então é assim, eu tenho este top dourado parado há muito tempo no meu closet e, gostava muito de o vestir, mas esperar por uma ocasião especial não estava nos meus planos. Hoje proponho-vos um 2 em 1, who is your bestie? Dois looks diferentes, a mesma roupa, apenas mudo os acessórios, querem ver?

Today I will personify the Miss Universe spirit and I will only talk about futilities, the ones that all women love: Clothes !!! So it is, I have this golden top tidied up a long time ago in my closet, and I really enjoyed wearing it, but waiting for a special occasion wasn't in my plans. Today I propose to you a 2 in 1, who is your bestie? Two different looks, the same clothes, just change the accessories, do you want to see?

O primeiro look poderia ter o título - Como vestir um top dourado para uma ida até à esplanada - Não é costume ver-se assim uma peça tão sofisticada, cheia de charme e brilho numa esplanada ao fim da tarde, o segredo é combiná-la com tons claros ou nude, porque se escolhermos cores escuras, aí o look torna-se mais apropriado para a noite, o que não era de todo o meu objectivo!!! Para isso escolhi os meus tennis dourados, um chapéu e, outra estrela do look, este maravilhoso kimono, adoro a franja e o bordado nas costas (uma das minhas fraquezas, you know!!). Mas, ainda faltam dois itens, que deixei propositadamente, para o fim.

For that I chose my golden sneakers, a hat and another star of the look, this wonderful kimono, I love the fringe and the embroidery on the back (you know how I get crazy by embroidery). But there are two items missing, which I purposely left to the end:

O colar e a carteira, são em madrepérola, eu adoro este material, para quem não conhece, é o material que reveste o interior de algumas conchas. Segundo a mitologia, a deusa Vénus (romanos) ou Afrodite (gregos) nasceu dentro de uma concha de madrepérola e foi criada pela espuma do mar. Exactamente por baixo do local onde me encontro, nuns pisos mais abaixo, existe um dos mais belos e originais Criptopórticos do mundo romano!! Hoje faz parte do Museu Machado de Castro em Coimbra e pode ser visitado. Há cerca de dois mil anos atrás a cidade romana Aeminium (que hoje é Coimbra) tinha o seu fórum, onde hoje é este museu. O fórum romano era o local, religioso, político, administrativo por excelência, crê-se que também que este criptopórtico teria uma utilização quotidiana e cultural e, acreditem todo esse mundo maravilhoso do Império Romano está debaixo dos meus pés!!! Portanto eu só poderia vir para aqui vestida de Deusa ahahahah!!

The necklace and the bag are in mother of pearl, I love this material, for those who don't know, it's the material that covers the interior of some shells. According to mythology, the goddess Venus (Romans) or Aphrodite (Greeks) was born within a mother-of-pearl shell and was created by the sea foam. Exactly below the place where I find myself, on a few floors below, there is one of the most beautiful and original Cryptoporticus of the Roman world !! Today it's part of the Machado de Castro Museum in Coimbra and can be visited. About two thousand years ago the Roman city Aeminium (today is Coimbra) had its forum, where today is this museum. The Roman forum was the place, religious, political, administrative par excellence, it's believed that also this cryptoporticus would have a daily and cultural use and can you believe all this wonderful world of the Roman Empire is under my feet !!! So I only could come here dressed as Goddess ahahahah !!

Neste caso seria Vénus, no primeiro look uma Vénus que vem até à esplanada!!! Ah mas com tanta conversa e, com a vontade de contar tantas coisas bonitas sobre Coimbra, já me estava a esquecer do que estava a falar ( não liguem isto é da idade eheheh), estava a falar da madrepérola que é um material nobre e delicado, tenho-o neste lindo colar vintage em forma de flor e, na minha carteira em pequenas peças que mais parecem botões. Como esta carteira é muito delicada e cada vez que a uso perco algumas peças de madrepérola uso-a muito poucas vezes, para além de que com tanta pedra a carteira, acreditem, é muito pesada!!!

Ah but with so much talk and with the desire to tell so many beautiful things about Coimbra, I forgot what I was talking about (I guess is the age ahahah), I was talking about the mother of pearl that is a noble and delicate material, I have him in this lovely vintage flower-shaped necklace and in my bag in small pieces that look like buttons, as this bag is so delicate and every time I wear it, I lose some pieces of mother-of-pearl, I use it few times, in addition to that with so much pieces the bag, believe me, is too god damn heavy !!!

Para o segundo look, apresento uma Vénus que vem a um evento cultural no Fórum Romano!! os tennis deram lugar a uns stilletos, a carteira plus size foi substituída por uma carteira mais pequena dourada também e, finalmente o colar de madrepérola foi substituído por uma jóia portuguesa, que tem uma história curiosa, isto a propósito de estarmos a falar nos nossos antepassados que viveram em Coimbra. Esta jóia foi comprada com a herança que recebi da minha avó paterna, como devem calcular não me deixou muito, hoje o seu valor deve ser 10 vezes superior, dado o preço actual do ouro, mas o seu valor sentimental é muito maior e digno de uma Deusa Romana. Para completar o look troquei o chapéu por uns óculos espelhados em dourado!!!

For the second look, I present a Venus that comes to a cultural event in the Roman Forum !! The sneakers turned in to stilletos, the plus size bag was replaced by a smaller golden bag, and finally the mother-of-pearl necklace was replaced by a Portuguese jewel, which has a curious history, by the way about being talking in our ancestors who lived in Coimbra. This jewel was bought with the inheritance that I received from my paternal grandmother, as you can imagine she didn't leave me much, today its value should be 10 times higher given the current gold price, but its sentimental value is much higher and worthy of a Roman Goddess. To complete the look, I changed the hat for a pair of golden mirrored sunglasses !!!

O objectivo desta Deusa é atrair e elevar as energias positivas e o amor à sua volta!!! É ou não é esse o espírito de uma Miss Universo!!! Mas como sabem toda a Miss tem de responder a uma pergunta, a minha resposta para qualquer que fosse a pergunta seria esta quote que li no blog da Ann Rooms of Inspiration e que diz muito sobre aquilo que penso:

Como sabem por vezes a inspiração falta-nos, nem sempre é fácil ter grandes histórias para contar. É preciso fazer pesquisas, depois com a informação que se recolhe é necessário processá-la e finalmente encontrar o local para as fotos que acrescente valor à história que se pretende contar. Como estou sem inspiração, mas não entrem em pânico, tenho umas histórias fantásticas pensadas só falta mesmo fazer a sessão fotográfica!! Por isto tudo que acabei de falar, hoje vamos falar de cremes.

A farmácia, onde costumo comprar os medicamentos, tem um cartão que consoante vamos fazendo compras, parte dessa compra em dinheiro vai acumulando no cartão. Quando já tenho uma determinada quantia e as marcas de cremes fazem uma promoção, 35% ou 50%, nessa altura eu utilizo o valor acumulado no cartão, o desconto da marca, e faço autênticos negócios da China ahahahh. Quando era criança chamavam-me Zita, mas a maioria das pessoas chama-me Márisa, com acento no "a" e não Marisa. Mas, não tenho qualquer problema com isso. Se me chamassem nomes feios é que ficava preocupada😁😁

Mas ela nunca desiste e fica super feliz quando eu digo: "Era mesmo isto que eu queria!!!"

I get annoyed when my mom can't take the pictures as I want, really !!! I get very angry !!! Como as bloggers andam todas doidas com os cosméticos da Coreia do Sul, o segredo de beleza das coreanas é o seguinte, lavar o arroz uma primeira vez e deitar a água fora, voltar a lavar o arroz numa segunda água e aproveitar essa água para lavar o rosto, torna a pele muito mais suave. Look nº 377 - To be or not to be Vegan?

Desde já aviso que este post vai chocar algumas pessoas mais "sensíveis", mas eu recuso-me a submeter-me à ditadura do politicamente correcto, eu vivo num país onde, ainda, existe liberdade de expressão!!! O tema principal é: Fazer a ponte ou se preferirem estabelecer pontes de diálogo e aceitação!!! E, não termos a tentação de cair num dos extremos da ponte, no radicalismo ou fundamentalismo das nossas opiniões nem no oposto, ficarmos, assim, a meio da ponte e aceitarmos um pouco da opinião uns e de outros!!! É nesse ponto que me encontro!!! Mas, afinal de que é que estou a falar?

Este tema vem a propósito de um post que li num blog, sobre um casal vegan que tem um filho, não sei bem precisar, mas acho que tem ano e meio e, a criança também já é vegan, claro não por decisão dele, mas dos pais. O que vou contar foi mais ou menos o que comentei nesse blog. Para quem não sabe, a minha dieta é composta unicamente pelos alimentos que vou referir: Batata, arroz, pão, peixes, carne de frango e peru, bananas e maçãs. Nada do que é verde pode entrar na minha dieta. E, o que disse foi o seguinte, eu agradeço muito a estes animais o facto de os poder comer, porque se assim não fosse, já estaria morta há muito tempo.

This topic is about a post that I read in a blog about a vegan couple that has a child, I'm not sure but I think he was a year and a half, and the child is also vegan, of course not by his decision, but by the parents. For those who don't know, my diet is composed only by the foods I will refer to: Potatoes, rice, bread, fish, chicken and turkey meat, bananas and apples. Vegetables are out of my diet. Eu também sou contra a violência animal, os maus tratos a animais, as más condições em que são explorados e transportados e, de facto podemos nos insurgir contra isso. Mas eu não carrego nenhum peso na consciência pelo facto de os comer, são a minha salvação e sou-lhes muito grata por existirem na Natureza, que nos seus insondáveis mistérios os deve ter criado precisamente com esse objectivo. Pergunto, como é no fundo dos mares? Os peixes não se comem uns aos outros? Como é na selva? Não é a mesma coisa!!! Se por absurdo, os animais de um dia para o outro tivessem um ataque de consciência, muitas espécies deixariam de existir!!!

But I don't have a guilty-conscience for eating them, they are my salvation and I'm grateful to them for existing in Nature, which in their unfathomable mysteries should have created them precisely for that purpose. Eu sei que se pode moderar o consumo da carne e, que há muitas pessoas que abusam do seu consumo, sendo actividade da exploração animal altamente poluente!! Também aceito que existem hoje outros alimentos, como a soja, o seitan, o tofu que podemos introduzir na nossa alimentação para reduzir a pegada ecológica. Mas, submeter uma criança que não tem voz a uma escolha que não é a sua, acho fundamentalismo de demais. Eu pergunto-me se estas mães vegan amamentam os seus filhos, se são contra qualquer tipo de violência animal, há muitas mulheres que ficam traumatizadas depois de amamentarem os seus filhos, ficam com as mamas descaídas, flácidas e, todos nós sabemos que isso é uma violência para algumas, eu diria melhor, uma exploração do corpo feminino!!!

I wonder if these vegan mothers breastfeed their children, if they are against any kind of animal violence, there are many women who are traumatized after breast-feeding their children, have sagging breasts, flaccid, and we all know that this is a violence for some, I would say, an exploration of the female body !!!

Também não sei que mal tem eu comer ovos das minhas galinhas (e só posso comer a clara de ovo), não percebo que tipo de violência estou a infligir às minhas galinhas!!! Mas, eu não terminei por aqui o meu comentário, eu prossegui e disse, que os nossos políticos adoram que os jovens andem distraídos com os direitos dos animais, pois enquanto andarem distraídos com isso, não lhes dificultam a vida para as suas negociatas nem dão conta que cada vez mais, têm menos direitos, como por exemplo, distraiam-se com as touradas que qualquer dia têm de trabalhar até aos 70 anos!!! Distraiam-se com a entrada dos cãezinhos nos restaurantes que qualquer dia, aos 70 anos, quando se reformarem, a vossa reforma será tão grande que têm de ir com o cãozinho e com o gatinho comer à sopa dos pobres!!! Os políticos adoram o PAN porque será? Portanto eu proponho que se faça a ponte entre estes dois mundos, porque qualquer dia a BESTA somos nós!!!

And to honor the animals and to thank them for eating them, not the ones I mentioned earlier, I'm wearing a jumpsuit (in portuguese is called "macacão" wich means big monkey), I have a butterfly ring and horn-rimmed glasses ( in portuguese we say "aros de tartaruga" wich means turtle glasses) !!!
