At the request of many families, and since a total solar eclipse is visible in Portugal today, here’s a special post!
This song questions whether God exists on Earth, and according to the lyrics, that possibility points to any one of us! And I ask you: do you think you could be that person—God?
I ask you: do you think that your actions—which make up the sum total of your life—lead to a mathematical result that is sacred? Yes, because the great Mathematician of the Universe is God! Do you think your life is lived in accordance with what God has shown us? If your answer is no—that is, if your actions aren’t carried out with the good of others and the common good in mind—then here’s another question, which is also the question Joan Osborne asks: if you were standing before an ordinary person and that person were God, what would you ask Him/Her? And remember, you can only ask one question!
Think about it for a moment: God is so wonderful and good, according to Joan, that He is capable of transforming Himself into a woman in distress or an old man in need of help, just to test our character. But assuming God were one of us, what would He be like? How do you imagine Him? As a man or a woman? What a controversial question! For me, God isn’t quite that wonderful and good, in the sense that we call Him Father—because in my life I haven’t felt that yet; I’ve only felt that He was more of a stepfather or even a tormentor! I’m not saying this lightly; I’m actually choosing my words very carefully. In the lessons He teaches me, I feel Him more like a teacher from the time of our dictatorship. You learn through violence; it’s the body that pays the price! That’s why I consider myself in God’s debt—let’s just say we have some accounts to settle!
Seria talvez a menos provável!
In my opinion, one is not born a god; one must forge a path—a difficult path—that can often push us to the limits of our abilities, even to the brink of madness, for “awakening” is not for everyone. It demands a transformation that only suffering can bring about, a strength of character, and a defense of our convictions that goes far beyond our own strength. We are tested and tempted in the most diverse ways, even cruel ones; we endure humiliations that no one else could bear. And for this “awakening” to occur, our lives—what happens to us—are always far more intense than those of ordinary mortals, so that through this—often unjust and cruel—process we may learn to read the world, to understand why people die and how they die, why they suffer from certain illnesses and not others. That’s it—you learn to READ life. I’d say it’s a treasure placed in our hands, but at the same time a curse that leads us to isolation and loneliness! And it’s years and years of this—not just 40 days! As for his appearance, in my opinion, I think he has a distinctive physical feature, but I won’t say which one—you’ll have to study! Otherwise, he would be a normal person who wouldn’t stand out from the crowd. He would perhaps be the least likely!
One thing is certain: I am not God, and even if I had that opportunity, I would never accept it! Why? The world is so ungovernable—filled with so much evil, hatred, and barbarism—that I would never wish such a thing upon myself! Perhaps that is why so many cruel wars and extreme weather events are happening—perhaps God is calling us to our senses, urging us to stop and think about what kind of world we want to leave for future generations! A just and compassionate world, or a world of an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth! As long as selfishness persists, we will be battered by more storms! And I'm not just talking about the weather!
I’m going to be as honest as possible: I don’t think God is as wonderful and good as Joan sings about and as I’ve said before. I’ve been at “war” with Him for many years, because He has a mission for me that I don’t accept, so I’ve suffered a lot, but there you have it—I’m defending my convictions to the very limits of my strength, and nothing will make me change my mind. Maybe I’m being tempted—and I am—but my conviction is strong, and I’m willing to die to defend it. You might think I’m crazy, but no, I know very well what He wants from me, and I know very well what I don’t want for myself. I am at war with two worlds, the earthly and the divine, but no one understands what I say, for rationally this conversation makes no sense; I know, I used to think that way too, until God proved His existence to me through countless situations that were impossible—so-called miracles—to happen. Going back to the beginning, God has been unfair to me and harsh. Very harsh. I don’t envy His position, but I would never want it, because ruling this world is like ruling a world that makes me want to vomit—I don’t know how He puts up with it! Maybe He wants to retire!
I’m not expecting any phone calls either, much less one from the Pope—I wouldn’t even answer his call. I have my reasons, and they’re very strong! I will never forget, much less forgive, what they did to me. No promise can erase what I’ve lived through and suffered. None. And besides, I have God’s promises—so why would I care about earthly promises! It would even make me laugh if it weren’t so tragic! But if I could ask God that question, I’d ask Him this:
- Who am I, after all?
And, feeling calm, I continue my journey by bus or on foot until I finally arrive home...

So, this is the story of a young man from my not-so-holy little town who went to study at that very college. I used to hang out with him back then, and I knew it took him years and years—more than ten—to finish his degree in Economics. But he managed to finish it at great cost (or so we thought), and he was highly respected around here. On election days, he had a permanent spot as the president of a polling station. I’d say the doctor was revered and even wore his graduation ring.
Here, in my not-so-holy little town, everyone knew that despite all those years of studying, he’d managed to become a professor in the Economics department. This really puzzled me—how could someone who, at the very least, had a 10.0 GPA be a university professor? To me, it could only have been through some serious connections! But I was also puzzled by the fact that I never saw him at the college, since I was studying there at the time, and what’s more, his name never appeared on the list of faculty members! It was all very strange! I was still very naive, for even more serious situations were about to unfold at this college!
Until the professor’s father died, at which point a new chapter began in this professor’s life. He returned to our not-so-holy little town, claiming he was coming back to study and finish his doctorate. But the months went by, and by, until people began to find it strange that the professor hadn’t returned to work at the university. It was then that an investigation into the professor’s life was launched—an investigation carried out by his own family. And what did they discover? A scandal: the professor was a fraud! He had never made it past the first year of his degree program, wasn’t a professor at all, and had never worked a single day in his life! Out of pride, the father kept him in Coimbra and perpetuated the lie that he had a son who was a professor at the University of Coimbra. The lie was very well constructed and orchestrated! I have my doubts—which are practically certainties—that the rest of the family, with connections to the University, knew everything and covered up the whole story of lies! Just like the family has already covered up and been involved in another scandal involving another fraudster right here in my not-so-holy little town!
This fake doctor is currently struggling with severe financial difficulties; he has been rejected by his family—who only cared about him when he was supposedly important—and by society. He was never invited to be a polling station president again! Justice was served, or maybe karma caught up with him. The truth is slow in coming but always comes out; it may take time, but I believe that a lie, no matter how well hidden, always ends up being exposed!
That’s what I’m hoping for too: Justice! There are a lot of “nice people” out there—unless I’m mistaken—or maybe they’re also colleagues of this fake doctor, with fake master’s degrees and phony or fabricated doctorates! In this not-so-holy little corner of the world of mine, with more oddities than Entroncamento, it’s a veritable flood of lies and cover-ups. But remember, it may take time, but the Truth will catch up with you, and you’ll know exactly that karma never fails—it may take time, but when it comes to collect, it does so with interest and inflation adjustments!
For the soundtrack to this post, I’ve chosen the band Depeche Mode and their song “Precious”! Lies are precious but fragile; they require special handling. Get ready, because it’s going to hurt—because God has a master plan!

I’ll start by telling you about human cryopreservation—“What?” you ask! That’s exactly it: freezing the human body so that, in the future, medicine might advance to the point where it’s possible to revive that body and bring it back to life—let’s say through some kind of resurrection technique—in the future!
Deus é o criador e o Homem a criatura.Once again, Man wants to take God’s place! But do you know what this cryogenics technique is good for? Nothing! God must be laughing his head off at Man! This is nothing more than a parable—this business of freezing the human body only to resurrect it later. A parable, a figure of speech that means: “a short story with characters that uses analogies and everyday situations to convey a moral, spiritual, or philosophical lesson!”—And what is the moral of this story? No matter how hard Man tries, he will never have the power of God. God is the Creator, and Man is the creature.
I can understand this parable, which presents cryonics as a means of achieving eternal life. It took many years of suffering, but God enlightened me with His wisdom, and I can say with absolute certainty that it is not about freezing the body—though you won’t have the pleasure of knowing what it really is, based on what I’ve been taught! As they say in Portugal: You should study!
I can only add that Jesus Christ said: “I am the way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me!” Think about the path—which was Jesus’ life—the humiliations he endured, the loneliness, the attacks, the envy, the betrayals, the physical and mental suffering, the rejection, the most wicked temptations! Everyone wants to reach the Father, but who wants to walk this path? Because what do you think the phrase “except through me” means? It means walking the same path as Jesus! Any volunteers to do it? None, right? It’s easier to freeze! Let me smile at your “naivety/wickedness,” but freezing is something else entirely! Man is always looking for the easiest path! God glorifies those who take the most tortuous path! Jesus’ desert wasn’t 40 days—it was years and years!

The soundtrack for this post is Muse’s latest song: “Cryogen.” The song is about a romantic relationship being put on cold storage, drawing a parallel with human cryopreservation. The girl in the song is compared by her ex-boyfriend to nitrogen, but believe me, I’m Absolute Zero, ha ha ha!!!

Because where I live, there are a lot of cobwebs in the brain, thinking is hard work, it’s tiring and boring, so this post is pure education! What I mean is that, in a way, I also feel like I’m part of a minority. Let me explain: there are women—most of them—who prefer to be with a man just to tell or show society that they aren’t alone. This is because—believe it or not—the world must have turned upside down these days, since it now looks down on a single woman! A single woman is looked down upon more than others who are constantly chasing after men; I don’t know if I’m making myself clear!
Since I don’t think like everyone else, I’m on my own—and that’s exactly how I want it. If anyone has a problem with that, they can go get lost, lol. Because I’m not here for that! I sleep better on my own!
I’m not a hypocrite like those who laugh at my choice, but then have gay children and send them far away, too ashamed to admit they have a gay child. It’s true! I’m even remembering a specific case right here near me! Or others who say they’d rather see their children in a coffin than know their children are gay. Or still others who are in a complete uproar because suddenly their beloved little girl decides she wants to be a boy and comes out as such! People, wake up! The world in your heads hasn’t existed for a long time! All that discrimination and hypocrisy you live in only makes you suffer needlessly—the world has moved on; have you realized that?
Now, I’m going to speak to the younger folks. Hey, kids, do the stories I’ve told make you want to laugh? So where are your lessons on gender equality? Don’t make me call you ignorant! But does every single minority within the LGBT community make you want to laugh? Does the situation with Catholic priests make you want to laugh? Don’t these people deserve your respect? Or do they deserve your mockery? Are you really that ignorant, uneducated, illiterate, crude, yet college-educated? I won’t even mention your parents, who, after all, didn’t even have your help to evolve—work that I did with my own mother. Don’t you feel ashamed of your parents’ backward thinking and yours?
We’ve reached the point where we have this absurd situation—and this is a case I’m familiar with—of a man (not a priest) who took a vow to remain a virgin his entire life, but to avoid being “looked down upon” by society and the political circles he moves in, he claims to be gay! And he surrounds himself with gay men to help confirm this lie. Notice that chastity (which deserves every respect) is looked down upon more than homosexuality (who also deserves our utmost respect)! I can only conclude that everyone has gone mad!
That’s why I chose another Muse song for this post’s soundtrack: “Uno”—not the card game! And this one is dedicated to someone who, as you’ll soon realize, is interested in me (?). I think the first verse of the lyrics says it all about my feelings; it’s the key to the whole song! So, this could be an opportunity, but I don’t intend to have any other life option than the one I’ve chosen for myself. I’m comfortable with who I am; honestly, other people’s opinions just reveal their own mediocrity. You guys need to grow up intellectually—it’s actually kind of sad!
This means nothing to me
'Cause you are nothing to me
And it means nothing to me
That you blew this away
