Look Nº 587 - Bankrupt Fashion!

 Hoje vamos falar de moda em contexto de trabalho. Esta semana tive de me deslocar a uma instituição bancária e, confirmei aquilo que já me tinha apercebido há muito tempo. Os funcionários bancários estão a vestir cada vez pior, tanto homens como mulheres.

Today we are going to talk about fashion in the workplace. This week I had to go to a bank and I confirmed what I had noticed a long time ago. Bank employees are dressing worse and worse, both men and women.

Fui atendida por um homem, estava de fato mas sem gravata e, o fato notava-se que já estava bastante coçado de muito uso. Quanto às senhoras, estavam vestidas de maneira muito discreta, simplória até, a fugir mesmo, eu arriscaria, para o pobrezinho!! O que é verdade é que ser bancário perdeu todo o status que tinha  há 40 anos atrás!!

I was attended by a man, he was dressed in a suit but without a tie, and the fact was noticeable that he was already very itchy of much use. As for the ladies, they were dressed in a very discreet, simple way...poor way!! What is true is that being a bank employee has lost all the status it had 40 years ago !!

Com a introdução do euro, o custo de vida dos portugueses aumentou tremendamente, os bancários que auferem salários medianos, com casas para pagar, carros e a educação dos filhos, o que faz com que o dinheiro para roupa seja diminuto, o que se compreende!! No fundo, os bancários são a imagem dos bancos que representam,  falidos é a palavra!! E, que tal este vestido? Estava bem vestida para trabalhar num banco??? Ahahah eu já trabalhei e odiei!!! E, vocês onde trabalham têm de obedecer a um dress code? Contem-me tudo nos comentários, estou curiosa para saber!!

With the introduction of the euro, the cost of living of the Portuguese has increased tremendously, bank employees who earn average salaries, with houses to pay, cars and the education of their children, the money for clothing is reduced, which is understandable !! Basically, bank employees are the image of the banks they represent, all bankrupt is the word!! And, how about this dress? Was I well dressed to work at a bank???
