David Bowie ficou conhecido no mundo da música como o Camaleão do Rock. Isto porque ele passou pelas mais diversas tendências musicais, desde os blues ao folk! Foi também um camaleão ao nível da imagem, um pouco androgina que sempre apresentou. Foi um homem à frente do seu tempo!

Não há dúvidas que a Cristina Ferreira é a mulher do momento. Adorada por uns, odiada por muitos outros. Eu já falei diversas vezes dela aqui no blog. Uma mulher que construiu um império à custa do seu próprio trabalho, empreendedora nata e com faro para os negócios. De menina que vendia na feira, passou a apresentadora de televisão e, muito recentemente tornou-se accionista do seu canal - uma self made woman!

There is no doubt that Cristina Ferreira is the woman of the moment. Adored by some, hated by many others. I've talked about she several times here on the blog. A woman who built an empire at the expense of her own work, a born entrepreneur and with a nose for business. From a girl who sold at the fair, she became a television host and, very recently, she became a shareholder in her channel - a self made woman!

Este post é sobre a Cristina porque há algo que me deixa muito triste. Basta ir ver os comentários das suas redes sociais, para constatar que as mulheres a odeiam e, que destilam o seu ódio e frustação em comentários abusivos, invejosos e muito pior machistas. Numa sociedade dominada pelos homens é triste ver as mulheres contra uma mulher que devia ser um exemplo para muitas delas, muitas, que até, são vítimas de violência e desprezo por parte dos seus companheiros!!!

Sabem aquelas resoluções de ano novo que todas nós fazemos, pois bem, com a Pandemia nós fomos obrigados a tomar outro tipo de resoluções. Eu explico. A Pandemia leva as pessoas a tomar as mais estranhas decisões/resoluções.

Não é que a minha mãe resolveu que só corta o cabelo, ou vai ao cabeleireiro, quando a Pandemia terminar!!! A sério!!! Eu, em solidariedade com ela, tomei a mesma decisão!! Não vá o Diabo tecê-las!!

My mother decided that she only cuts her hair, or goes to the hairdresser, when the Pandemic is over!!! Seriously!!! I, in solidarity with her, made the same decision!! Just in case!!

Hoje vou falar-vos de uma Teoria que anda nas bocas do mundo. Eu diria que é uma Teoria que não lembra a ninguém, pois trata-se de uma parvoíce tão grande, que até dá vontade de rir!! Já ouviram falar da Teoria da Terra Plana? Pois há um grupo de alucinados que quer provar que a Terra é plana, como se fosse um disco e, que por essa razão tem um fim. Mostro a imagem da Terra defendida por este grupo.

Today I am going to talk to you about a Theory that is in the mouths of the world. I would say it's a Theory that does not remind anyone, because it's such a silly thing, it makes me want to laugh !! Have you heard of the Flat Earth Theory? So there is a group of hallucinated people who want to prove that the Earth is flat, as if it were a disk, and that for that reason it has an end.

Lembro que a viagem de circum-navegação realizada por Fernão de Magalhães em 1519-1522 provou, como todos nós sabemos, ou quase, que a Terra é redonda. Pois passados todos estes séculos e todo o conhecimento científico que já se produziu, está mais que provado, ninguém tem dúvidas sobre isso, mas há quem teime em provar o absurdo!!

Recentemente li um artigo, em que um casal italiano vendeu todos os seus pertences para comprar um barco, fizeram-se ao mar para irem à procura - pasme-se - do fim do mundo!!!

Acabaram por naufragar no Mar Mediterrâneo e foram salvos, pensando-se que eram foragidos da Síria!! Eu e quase todos nós diriamos que estão redondamente enganados, passo o pleonasmo!! Ainda há mentes assim, há procura do fim do mundo, literalmente ahahhahh!! Não é Lex? Até o meu cão sabe isso!!! Ahahahah!!

I recently read an article that an Italian couple sold all their belongings to buy a boat, went to the sea to go looking - be amazed - for the end of the world !!!
They ended up shipwrecked in the Mediterranean Sea and were saved, thinking they were fugitives from Syria !! Me and almost all of us would say that they are sadly mistaken! Look Nº 573 - The Pandemic Diary!

Muitas meninas têm me perguntado como é que eu faço quando recebo encomendas nestes tempos de pandemia. Isto porque são poucas as pessoas que se atrevem a vestir roupa numa loja física, sabe-se lá quem vestiu aquilo antes, não é verdade?

Many girls have asked me how I do it when I receive orders in these pandemic times. This is because few people dare to wear clothes in a physical store, who knows who wore that before, right?

Respondendo à questão, eu faço da seguinte maneira:

- A encomenda, ou caixa, nunca entra dentro de casa. Coloco umas luvas e só depois a abro, retiro o conteúdo, vejo se este me agrada, se sim, vai para lavar e depois, muito importante, é passado a ferro.

- Se o artigo não é aquilo que eu esperava, coloco-o dentro da caixa e vai para devolução.

- Se tenho dúvidas se o artigo me serve, deixo uma semana a marinar ao sol e só passado esse tempo é que o visto e, só depois de o ter passado a ferro!

Answering the question, I do it as follows:
- The package, or box, never enters my house. I put on some gloves and only then open it, remove the contents, see if it pleases me, if yes, go to wash and then, very important, it's ironed.
- If the item is not what I expected, I put it in the box and go for return.
- If I have doubts if the article fits me, I leave it for a week in the sun and only after that time do I wear it, and only after I have ironed it!

Esta é a minha maneira de lidar com o problema das encomendas, asseguro-vos que se fizerem desta maneira é seguro, mais seguro que comprando em loja física, lembro que fui ao shopping e entrei nas lojas de roupa e nem sequer me atrevi a tocar na roupa!

This is my way of dealing with the problem, I assure you that if you do it this way it's safe, safer than buying in a physical store, I remember that I went to the mall and entered in the clothing stores and I didn't even dare to touch the clothes!
