DISCLAIMER: This post is not sponsored by the Catholic Church, and, as you may have noticed, it is not sponsored by the University of Coimbra either! When the Pope talks about human dignity and ethical and moral judgment, it makes my blood boil! They’re wrong!
It took several centuries for the Catholic Church to ask for FORGIVENESS for its involvement in slavery—several centuries! Once again, baby, they are wrong! For a Church that preaches love for one’s neighbor should never have been involved in this! Never! And what about the modern-day slavery that the Church also promotes? The slavery of obedience, of the “meek” and submissive humans before society! Submissive to governments and interests that exploit him with the Church’s connivance! They are wrong! All of them!
I know what you’re afraid of: you want a complacent, controlled society, because you’re afraid—not of AI machines, but of your own existence as a Church and a Power! But I also have something revolutionary—yet true—to say: God is present in plants, in trees, in animals, and also in machines; that’s right, God animates the machines themselves. You may think that these only function with a power source, but energy is God; God determines whether they function or stop, or even their lifespan. If Man uses machines for Good, they are aids in the evolution of humanity. If Man uses them for Evil, they (God) will respond with an even greater Evil. We are not alone, no! The world we now know is not adrift; there is a Higher Order. There is no VOID of command!
They are wrong!
There is hope, but it requires an leap of faith, just as the song in this post tells us. Not the kind of leap of faith advocated by the Catholic Church. This leap is only possible if we are able to resist, if we do not submit, because God is also struggle, resistance, and courage in the face of adversity—not falling into the void, alienated and apathetic, simply obeying! The pilgrimage takes place in our lives, on our own path—not by traveling a few kilometers to Fátima and waving a handkerchief! Obediently! They are wrong! We must resist to reach the truth!
It was through my journey of struggle that I grew spiritually, gaining ever greater wisdom—not the wisdom found in books locked away in dusty libraries, but wisdom that isn’t taught in universities, wisdom, I dare say, that is DIVINE! The kind that illuminates our souls! The kind that elevates us, not in pride, but in humility. And it was by resisting, by fighting against everything and everyone, alone, that I forged a completely new path! A path that no one wants to take. But one that God appreciates! Perhaps that is why I am at war with Him, but that is another story!

But why do I bring God, humans, and AI into this? Once again, baby, they’re wrong! And here’s another bombshell TRUTH: We are the AI! Pardon me. What did you say? You ask! Well, we spend a large part of our lives studying, climbing the ladder of knowledge, and loading our brains with information. Absorbing what we read, study, and observe—just as we do with AI when we load it with knowledge! What is AI, after all? It’s a lesson from God! They’re wrong!
A lesson from God, indeed! A parable from God! Or a temptation from God! We humans are trying to “play God” by creating a machine that thinks, but lacks feelings, humanity, and love. The danger isn’t AI; it’s us humans, tempted to build a machine that’s in every way like us, just as God made us in His image! But remember: They are wrong! Because we are “dead,” like the one in the back of the photo, we are dead to feelings, empathy, and love; we are void of humanity. That is precisely the moral of the parable! They are wrong! As the soundtrack for this post, I chose another song by Muse: “The Void”!

I became a “slave” to the clock. From always glancing at the clock at the same time to events happening at the same time as well, even though I tried my best to prevent that from happening. I was, and am, a hostage to the clock! It was, and is, terrible to feel that way! I found myself engaged in a fierce internal struggle to avoid these coincidences with the hours. I even often say: “If people knew what a clock really is, they would never carry such an object!” Perhaps that is why there is such a great passion for clocks; that is why there are luxury brand watches, costing thousands of euros, set with diamonds and other precious stones! In fact, the mundane act of telling time is certainly much more than that without us even realizing it! That’s why watches come in a range of prices—because not everyone sees time in the same way—but you’ll soon see what I mean by this!
I’ve learned to live with it, and now I understand what’s happening to me. You’re going to be amazed by what I’m about to tell you, but this is how I feel, and it’s the big conclusion I’ve reached—get ready!! What I feel about this whole thing with coincidences and the clock is that I’m in tune—or rather, I’m in sync—with the Universe! Seriously, believe me, I know it’s hard, but it’s not a matter of illness or doctors!
Let’s just say that nothing in my life happens by chance; everything I do feels like a story that’s already been written, and I’m just living it out and confirming what was written—hence the coincidences. And what’s more, everything happens to me with a precision that goes down to the trillionth of a second—if such a thing exists—I keep discovering things that coincide with the progress of the Universe; I can’t quite explain it, it’s as if I were confirming a path written long ago, as if the life that was conceived by the great architect who owns all of this, for me, I am confirming it with my choices and my free will. I have a strong intuition that I am going to discover something surprising about myself!
I was thinking about this idea of being in sync with the Universe when I decided to Google the topic and see if the Bible mentions anything similar to what I just described! And wouldn’t you know it—it does! It doesn’t use that exact term, but Google points to Divine Providence. So what does the Bible say about this? Get ready!
"The concept of divine synchronicity—the alignment of God’s plans with human time and circumstances—is present in the Bible. Contingent events are coordinated by God’s sovereign purpose. What appears to be a coincidence or chance is, in the biblical view, an orchestration of circumstances. It is like being spiritually in sync with the divine will, seeking to act in harmony with God’s timing and will."
As you can see, what the Bible says is exactly what I explained in simpler terms! Now you may laugh at all this—that’s your right—but I, who have often wondered what my purpose in life is, now know that I do indeed have a purpose that God hasn’t revealed to me yet, but I’ll get there—of that I’m certain!
As the soundtrack for this post, I’ve chosen another song by Muse: “Map of the Problematic.” It’s a song about fear. I know I can provoke that fear in some people—and I know I do—because I know more than I let on. I’m not talking about those coincidences fabricated by certain people; I’m talking about something much grander, involving people’s deaths, miracles, and circumstances completely beyond human control. But getting back to the song, and at the beginning of these “symptoms” of mine, I just wanted to be free from all of this, and that was the direction of my struggle—I didn’t want to be a prisoner of what I felt, and I fought, and fought hard! But what happened was that I ended up having an encounter with God, and that led me to isolation, loneliness, and a great disappointment with humanity. My life is spent watching others live, have children and grandchildren, etc., but don’t think that this has no purpose—it does; it has brought me wisdom. From others’ perspective, I am wrong, but I know I am doing the right thing, and nothing will divert me from this path! This loneliness was necessary to show me all this and more. Loneliness is a matter of time... and patience!

At the request of many families, and since a total solar eclipse is visible in Portugal today, here’s a special post!
This song questions whether God exists on Earth, and according to the lyrics, that possibility points to any one of us! And I ask you: do you think you could be that person—God?
I ask you: do you think that your actions—which make up the sum total of your life—lead to a mathematical result that is sacred? Yes, because the great Mathematician of the Universe is God! Do you think your life is lived in accordance with what God has shown us? If your answer is no—that is, if your actions aren’t carried out with the good of others and the common good in mind—then here’s another question, which is also the question Joan Osborne asks: if you were standing before an ordinary person and that person were God, what would you ask Him/Her? And remember, you can only ask one question!
Think about it for a moment: God is so wonderful and good, according to Joan, that He is capable of transforming Himself into a woman in distress or an old man in need of help, just to test our character. But assuming God were one of us, what would He be like? How do you imagine Him? As a man or a woman? What a controversial question! For me, God isn’t quite that wonderful and good, in the sense that we call Him Father—because in my life I haven’t felt that yet; I’ve only felt that He was more of a stepfather or even a tormentor! I’m not saying this lightly; I’m actually choosing my words very carefully. In the lessons He teaches me, I feel Him more like a teacher from the time of our dictatorship. You learn through violence; it’s the body that pays the price! That’s why I consider myself in God’s debt—let’s just say we have some accounts to settle!
Seria talvez a menos provável!
In my opinion, one is not born a god; one must forge a path—a difficult path—that can often push us to the limits of our abilities, even to the brink of madness, for “awakening” is not for everyone. It demands a transformation that only suffering can bring about, a strength of character, and a defense of our convictions that goes far beyond our own strength. We are tested and tempted in the most diverse ways, even cruel ones; we endure humiliations that no one else could bear. And for this “awakening” to occur, our lives—what happens to us—are always far more intense than those of ordinary mortals, so that through this—often unjust and cruel—process we may learn to read the world, to understand why people die and how they die, why they suffer from certain illnesses and not others. That’s it—you learn to READ life. I’d say it’s a treasure placed in our hands, but at the same time a curse that leads us to isolation and loneliness! And it’s years and years of this—not just 40 days! As for his appearance, in my opinion, I think he has a distinctive physical feature, but I won’t say which one—you’ll have to study! Otherwise, he would be a normal person who wouldn’t stand out from the crowd. He would perhaps be the least likely!
One thing is certain: I am not God, and even if I had that opportunity, I would never accept it! Why? The world is so ungovernable—filled with so much evil, hatred, and barbarism—that I would never wish such a thing upon myself! Perhaps that is why so many cruel wars and extreme weather events are happening—perhaps God is calling us to our senses, urging us to stop and think about what kind of world we want to leave for future generations! A just and compassionate world, or a world of an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth! As long as selfishness persists, we will be battered by more storms! And I'm not just talking about the weather!
I’m going to be as honest as possible: I don’t think God is as wonderful and good as Joan sings about and as I’ve said before. I’ve been at “war” with Him for many years, because He has a mission for me that I don’t accept, so I’ve suffered a lot, but there you have it—I’m defending my convictions to the very limits of my strength, and nothing will make me change my mind. Maybe I’m being tempted—and I am—but my conviction is strong, and I’m willing to die to defend it. You might think I’m crazy, but no, I know very well what He wants from me, and I know very well what I don’t want for myself. I am at war with two worlds, the earthly and the divine, but no one understands what I say, for rationally this conversation makes no sense; I know, I used to think that way too, until God proved His existence to me through countless situations that were impossible—so-called miracles—to happen. Going back to the beginning, God has been unfair to me and harsh. Very harsh. I don’t envy His position, but I would never want it, because ruling this world is like ruling a world that makes me want to vomit—I don’t know how He puts up with it! Maybe He wants to retire!
I’m not expecting any phone calls either, much less one from the Pope—I wouldn’t even answer his call. I have my reasons, and they’re very strong! I will never forget, much less forgive, what they did to me. No promise can erase what I’ve lived through and suffered. None. And besides, I have God’s promises—so why would I care about earthly promises! It would even make me laugh if it weren’t so tragic! But if I could ask God that question, I’d ask Him this:
- Who am I, after all?
And, feeling calm, I continue my journey by bus or on foot until I finally arrive home...

* Your community, your future!
So, this is the story of a young man from my not-so-holy little town who went to study at that very college. I used to hang out with him back then, and I knew it took him years and years—more than ten—to finish his degree in Economics. But he managed to finish it at great cost (or so we thought), and he was highly respected around here. On election days, he had a permanent spot as the president of a polling station. I’d say the doctor was revered and even wore his graduation ring.
Here, in my not-so-holy little town, everyone knew that despite all those years of studying, he’d managed to become a professor in the Economics department. This really puzzled me—how could someone who, at the very least, had a 10.0 GPA be a university professor? To me, it could only have been through some serious connections! But I was also puzzled by the fact that I never saw him at the college, since I was studying there at the time, and what’s more, his name never appeared on the list of faculty members! It was all very strange! I was still very naive, for even more serious situations were about to unfold at this college!
Until the professor’s father died, at which point a new chapter began in this professor’s life. He returned to our not-so-holy little town, claiming he was coming back to study and finish his doctorate. But the months went by, and by, until people began to find it strange that the professor hadn’t returned to work at the university. It was then that an investigation into the professor’s life was launched—an investigation carried out by his own family. And what did they discover? A scandal: the professor was a fraud! He had never made it past the first year of his degree program, wasn’t a professor at all, and had never worked a single day in his life! Out of pride, the father kept him in Coimbra and perpetuated the lie that he had a son who was a professor at the University of Coimbra. The lie was very well constructed and orchestrated! I have my doubts—which are practically certainties—that the rest of the family, with connections to the University, knew everything and covered up the whole story of lies! Just like the family has already covered up and been involved in another scandal involving another fraudster right here in my not-so-holy little town!
This fake doctor is currently struggling with severe financial difficulties; he has been rejected by his family—who only cared about him when he was supposedly important—and by society. He was never invited to be a polling station president again! Justice was served, or maybe karma caught up with him. The truth is slow in coming but always comes out; it may take time, but I believe that a lie, no matter how well hidden, always ends up being exposed!
That’s what I’m hoping for too: Justice! There are a lot of “nice people” out there—unless I’m mistaken—or maybe they’re also colleagues of this fake doctor, with fake master’s degrees and phony or fabricated doctorates! In this not-so-holy little corner of the world of mine, with more oddities than Entroncamento, it’s a veritable flood of lies and cover-ups. But remember, it may take time, but the Truth will catch up with you, and you’ll know exactly that karma never fails—it may take time, but when it comes to collect, it does so with interest and inflation adjustments!
For the soundtrack to this post, I’ve chosen the band Depeche Mode and their song “Precious”! Lies are precious but fragile; they require special handling. Get ready, because it’s going to hurt—because God has a master plan!
