Olá! Bem-vindos, meus caros amigos e leitores! Certo?
Hello! Welcome, my dear friends and readers! After a few posts, which I admit were not easy topics, I propose a lighter read! I promise. This is because the photos in this post are not as stunning as I would like, but the quality of the posts cannot always be at its best, even though I do my best. Right?
If you look closely, you'll see that the wind was largely responsible for the photos not turning out as well as I would have liked and expect from my work. The photos selected are the best of a series of terrible photos! The location chosen is also not new here on the blog, and I have to say that it didn't help the dress shine either, even though it's a mermaid dress!
As you can see, last year at the Vista Alegre Museum, the dress shone brightly. That's what you're thinking right now, isn't it? And that's the point of this post. That's where I'm going with this, and you'll soon understand why!
To those who like to indoctrinate us with fashion rules and try to dictate not only what to wear, but also how and where to wear it, I say no! I don't like monotony and thinking that clothes are a straitjacket, but rather a form of personal expression.

There are many who like to dictate fashion trends and proclaim creative freedom to the four winds, but deep down they want to mold us to their tastes and thinking. Although they left the island, the island did not leave them. Fashion is not a prison: it is a language. Nor is it a dictatorship: it is revolution!*
Olá! Sejam muito bem-vindos quem vier por bem! Hoje vou falar-vos do assunto do momento!
Hello! Welcome to all who come in peace! Today I'm going to talk to you about the topic of the moment! If you think you've seen it all, I can tell you that you haven't seen anything yet! This is about the latest consumer craze that has swept the planet! Do you remember playing with dolls called Baby Born when we were children?
Well, these babies are back, but now they are handmade from vinyl/silicone, hyper-realistic babies with natural hair, looking like real newborns and costing more than an iPhone. They even pee (simulated)!! I'm talking about Baby Reborn, the new generation! The craze is global, but it's driving Brazilian women especially crazy! Yes, this phenomenon has taken over Brazil.
In this country, influencers – and others – even throw babyshower parties with these dolls. They parade around shopping centres with prams as if they were walking a real newborn. Amazingly, there are even those who use these babies to deal with pregnancy loss. The phenomenon went viral... and controversy ensued! The paranoia is so great that they use these babies to get priority in queues and parking spaces! But there's more, they even take them to the paediatrician! And what's more, they simulate the birth of these reborn babies!!??!!
All this led to the government itself having to intervene. Some policies aim to fine those who take the joke too far. Others defend this business, which has already generated millions of reais in sales in the last year.
Finally, these hyper-realistic babies tell us that affection can manifest itself in many ways. Personally, I think that this exaggerated behaviour reveals many emotional and affectionate needs. One thing is certain: Brazil has never been the same since the Baby Reborn craze! Perhaps Baby Reborn dolls are just that: a modern way of reliving old childhood!
Yesterday were the legislative elections in Portugal, at the time of writing this post I don't know anything about who won them! The purpose of these elections is to choose the party or parties that will support a government and who will be appointed Prime Minister! I can't say that the electoral campaign was extraordinary or very enlightening, but I do think that they gave us a lot of music!!! I don't know if you know what I mean!!!
10 euros is proof that the Portuguese are living on the edge of financial survival!
I hope an ambitious government emerges from these elections, because being the country of a thousand euro salary and 10 euro notes smells a lot like... funeral music!

Queridos leitores e amigos,
Dear readers and friends,
Today, once again, I come here to express my opinion. It's something I do often in my posts and, frankly, I don't expect everyone's approval. I realise that by exposing what I think, I run the risk of losing followers, but I'm willing to do that. I believe that freedom of expression is a fundamental right, and I feel that it is being increasingly threatened.

Now, I'd like to share my opinion on a controversial subject: I don't agree that people who think they are women, feel like women, but whose biological sex is male (XY), should compete in sports categories against women who are actually considered to be women biologically (XX). Men's physical complexion is generally stronger than women's, which can give them an unfair advantage. I don't consider this to be a level playing field, so I see it as a form of cheating! But women seem to accept this situation, which is anything but fair! I'm not referring to any specific situation, I'm speaking as a matter of principle
