Self-Portrait!

E já estamos no último dia do mês, dia da rubrica da Retratografia. O tema deste mês é Autoretrato. Bom este tema para mim é um dos melhores porque é mesmo a minha cara, passo a redundância eheheh!! Sim porque um único autoretrato para mim é um exercício difícil de fazer, porque em mim habitam muitas personagens. Vocês são testemunhas de quantas personagens eu já fiz aqui no blog. Já fui a Princesa Cindazunda, a Lianor de Camões, eu já fui a D. Maria Teles de Menezes, a Rainha Santa Isabel, uma agricultora e uma pastora e até a Preguiça eu já fui!! São tantas as personagens que não consigo lembrar-me de todas, mas não posso esquecer o fantástico menino Jesus que personifiquei!!! Espero que gostem desta abordagem ao tema, eu diverti-me muito a fazer isto, podem acreditar!!!

And we are already on the last day of the month, the day of the project Retratografia (Portrait+photografy). This month's theme is Self-Portrait. Well this theme for me is one of the best because it's really me, my face, forgive my repetition eheheh !! Yes, because a single self-portrait for me is a hard exercise to do, because many characters inhabit me. You are witnesses of how many characters I have done here on the blog. I was already Princess Cindazunda, Lianor of the poet Camões, I already was D. Maria Teles de Menezes, Queen Saint Isabel, a farmer and a shepherdess and even Laziness I was already!! There are so many characters that I can't remember all of them, but I can't forget the fantastic baby Jesus I personified! I hope you enjoy this approach to the topic, I had a lot of fun doing this, believe me!!!

Babes, babes, finalmente uma tendência que eu adoro, os hair clips ou ganchos em bom português!! Usam-se vários, todos do mesmo lado da cabeça. Podem ser com cristais, pérolas, conchas ou metálicas. O efeito é lindo nuns cabelos soltos ou apanhados num rabo de cavalo!!

Nas outras lojas sinceramente não fiz uma busca para vos mostrar os vários modelos em outras lojas, porque de facto a Zara tem mesmo todas as tendências. Se gostam de acessórios de cabelo esta é uma tendência que realça o penteado e vos torna muito mais femininas. Eu confesso que adorooooooooo!!! E já as estou a imaginar no meu cabelo ahahahah!!!

Look Nº 430 - O Captain! My Captain!

Hoje é feriado nacional em Portugal. Hoje é o Dia da Liberdade!! No dia 25 de Abril de 1974 os militares saíram dos quartéis, marcharam sobre Lisboa e fizeram a Revolução comandados pelo Capitão Salgueiro Maia!!!

Today is a national holiday in Portugal. Today is Freedom Day !! On April 25, 1974, the military left the barracks, marched over Lisbon and made the Revolution commanded by Captain Salgueiro Maia!!!

Uma Revolução pacífica que ficou conhecida pela Revolução dos Cravos - esta era a época desta flor de cor vermelha - nos canos das armas, que não disparam munições, foi colocado um cravo vermelho! A Liberdade foi conquistada, as perseguições terminaram e, os presos políticos foram soltos!! Depois de 45 anos acho que estamos a precisar de uma nova revolução, a corrupção domina os corredores da política de tal forma que se perdeu por completo o sentido de estado, a ética não existe e diria mais é tudo feito com a maior desfaçatez sem um pingo de vergonha na cara e de decoro, como se os portugueses fossem burros (provavelmente até são!!).

A peaceful revolution that became known as the Carnation Revolution - this was the time of this red flower - in the guns barrels that don't fire ammunition was placed a red carnation! Freedom was won, the persecutions ended, and the political prisoners were released!! After 45 years I think we are in need of a new revolution, corruption dominates the corridors of politics in such a way that they completely lost the sense of state, ethics does not exist and I would say more is all done shamefully without a bit of shame in the face and decorum, as if the Portuguese were stupid (probably they are!!).

Agora que estão contextualizados vou falar na minha roupa. Há cerca de 12 anos atrás eu também me senti uma pessoa perseguida e senti que a minha liberdade e os meus direitos me tinham sido retirados de alguma forma - contei alguns episódios nos posts: The sex of the angels, The invisible hand e The Knight of the sad figure - e fui à luta, fiz o meu próprio 25 de Abril!!!

Now that you are contextualized I will speak on my clothes. About 12 years ago I also felt like a persecuted person and I felt that my freedom and my rights had been removed to me in some way - I counted some episodes in the posts: The sex of the angels, The invisible hand and The Knight of the sad figure - and I went to the fight, I made my own April 25 !!!

Comprei um casaco e fiz dele um uniforme, uniforme de capitão com muitas condecorações e medalhas, dos seus galões saíam não só cravos vermelhos mas todas as flores das mais variadas cores, era um capitão que lutava contra uma força invisível, foi tudo feito pela minha própria mão, num trabalho feito pela noite dentro. Nesse dia fui com este casaco e com um ramo de cravos vermelhos e fui fazer a revolução para o Páteo da Universidade de Coimbra.

I bought a coat and made it a uniform, a captain's uniform with many medals and decorations, not only red carnations but all the flowers of the most varied colors, was a captain fighting against an invisible force, it was all done by my own hand, in a job done by the night inside. That day I went with this coat and a bunch of red carnations and went to make the revolution for the Pateo of the University of Coimbra.

Foi a minha Revolução. Não houve uma única pessoa que perguntasse o que estava a fazer ali, assim vestida e a espalhar cravos vermelhos, houve um professor que sorriu para mim e uma turista espanhola que me perguntou o que se passava, mais nada, todos permaneceram em silêncio, o mesmo silêncio que se ouve a cada nova corrupção que é descoberta.

It was my Revolution. There was not a single person who asked what I was doing there, dressed that way and spreading red carnations, there was a teacher who smiled at me and a Spanish tourist who asked me what was going on, nothing else, everyone remained silent, the same silence that is heard with every new corruption is discovered.

O Capitão que vêm aqui lutou, não baixou os braços e fez a sua Revolução em silêncio com um casaco de flores cosido à mão numa noite de Abril!! Na noite da Revolução passaram músicas na rádio que foram senhas para a confirmação que a Revolução se faria, uma dessas música dizia assim:

Quis saber quem sou
O que faço aqui
Quem me abandonou
De quem me esqueci

A minha Revolução também tinha de ter música, escolhi a Primavera dos The Gift com o simbolismo do Amor por um País, o meu país e a minha língua.

The Captain who came here fought, didn't lower his arms and made his Revolution in silence with a hand-sewn flower coat on an April night !! On the night of the Revolution there were songs on the radio that were passwords for confirmation that the Revolution would be made, one of these songs said like this:

I wanted to know who I am
What I do here
Who abandoned me?

Who I forgot

My Revolution also had to have music, I chose the song Primavera (Spring) of The Gift with the symbolism of Love for a Country, my country and my language.

Look Nº 429 - Notre-Dame!

Espero, muito sinceramente, daqui por 5 anos ver a Catedral de Notre-Dame majestosa como esta Igreja que estão a ver nas fotos. É assim bonita que a quero ver!! Independentemente de sermos católicos ou não, é a importância do património mundial com mais de 800 anos que nós temos a responsabilidade de preservar.

I very sincerely hope, in 5 years, to see the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral like this Church that you are seeing in the photos. Is this beautiful that I want to see it! Regardless of whether we are Catholic or not, it's the importance of the world heritage with more than 800 years that we have the responsibility to preserve.

Notre-Dame é símbolo de uma civilização, da Civilização Ocidental, a mais desenvolvida e tolerante de todas as civilizações, é minha opinião que esta, que é a minha civilização, enfrenta grandes perigos e, espero, como muitos comentadores disseram, que tal como o Império Romano caiu, também a Civilização Ocidental está decaindo a cada dia e, o incêndio em Notre-Dame é prova disso. Não quero acreditar, nem voltar a ver imagens como esta, fiquei com o meu coração despedaçado!

Notre-Dame is a symbol of a civilization, of Western Civilization, the most developed and tolerant of all civilizations, it's my opinion that this, which is my civilization, faces great dangers and, I hope, as many commentators have said, the Roman Empire has fallen, so too the Western Civilization is decaying every day, and the fire at Notre-Dame is proof of that. I don't want to believe or see images like this again, I have my heart broken!

Quero Notre-Dame daqui a 5 anos assim resplandecente como esta Igreja, mostrando ao mundo a força da Civilização Ocidental, imponente e majestosa. Estamos na época pascal por isso quis fazer a personificação de uma Notre-Dame - Nossa Senhora - dos tempos modernos, apreensiva com o futuro!!

I want Notre-Dame five years hence, resplendent like this Church, showing the world the strength of Western Civilization, imposing and majestic. We are in the Easter season so I wanted to make the personification of a Notre-Dame - Our Lady - of modern times, apprehensive about the future !!

Espero que esta renovação do património seja também uma metáfora para a renovação interior que cada católico deve fazer nesta altura do ano. Jesus morreu por nós na maior prova de amor que alguma vez foi dada por alguém, morreu para nos salvar! Que esta Páscoa seja motivo para renovação da vossa fé, ou não sendo católicos, que seja a renovação da esperança, por dias melhores e mais felizes e que juntos e unidos possamos encontrar forças para lutar contra as forças do mal, afirmando-nos mais e mais como uma civilização onde o Amor prevaleça e vença todos os perigos e, se afirme como a grande revolução do Homem Moderno.

I hope that this heritage renewal is also a metaphor for the inner renewal that every Catholic must do at this time of year. Jesus died for us in the greatest proof of love that was ever given by someone, He died to save us! May this Easter be a reason for renewing your faith, or not being Catholic, for the renewal of hope, for better and happier days, and that together and united we may find the strength to fight the forces of evil, affirming us more and more like a civilization where Love prevails and overcomes all dangers, and asserts itself as the great revolution of Modern Man.

Esta Igreja que vêm foi transformada na Casa da Jurisprudência, interpretada, aqui, como colocar a lei em harmonia com as ideias contemporâneas e as necessidades modernas. Que se faça Jurisprudência com Notre-Dame, que a justiça seja sempre o caminho da Civilização Ocidental.

This coming church has been transformed into the Jurisprudence House, interpreted here as putting the law in harmony with contemporary ideas and modern needs. Let Jurisprudence be made with Notre-Dame, that justice be always the path of Western Civilization.

Espero que tenham umas boas férias e que a vossa Páscoa seja passada em comunhão com a vossa família. E, lembrem-se Páscoa é Amor!! Uma Santa Páscoa para todos os que por aqui passam e deixam uma palavra amiga, hoje quero partilhar o meu amor por todos vocês e que juntos possamos reerguer esta Igreja, seja ela qual for!!

Brides Mothers: What to Dress?

Daqui até ao Verão é um piscar de olhos e, Verão é sinónimo de cerimónias de casamento, mas desenganem-se já, não vou falar de noivas, muito menos de vestidos de noiva. Hoje o lugar de destaque, do blog, vai para tcharam... para as mães das noivas!!! E se as noivas são acometidas por um ataque de nervoso miudinho, as mães nem vos digo, têm de dormir de luvas porque senão nessa noite roem as unhas todas, estragando a bela manicure!!! É olhar para o ser rebento ganhar asas e sair do ninho, é entregar a sua filha nas mãos de um homem, podem apostar, são muitas emoções à flor da pele!! É o receio de que algo possa correr mal na cerimónia e estragar um dia tão desejado!! Mas para minorar todo esse stress, uma mãe de noiva bem vestida e confortável na sua pele, envergando um vestido que vai ao encontro da sua personalidade e gosto pessoal é meio caminho para que tudo corra bem e tenhamos noiva e mãe felizes. Acreditem que há mães com os gostos muito variados, umas bastante arrojadas, outras mais clássicas estilo britânico, e outras mais minimalistas nos detalhes do vestido. Estão vocês a perguntar e para as mães plus size? Também há solução, sem perder a elegância e o glamour. Uma regra de ouro, a mãe tem de estar muito elegante e não ofuscar a noiva, não vá o noivo querer casar com a sogra ahahhahah!!

Look Nº 428 - The Origin!

Desde que comecei a ter os primeiros sintomas da minha doença, um dos que sempre me acompanhou foi a tosse - já por várias vezes referi que tenho uma tosse de cão - o que é certo é que o problema tem vindo a agravar-se. Os médicos até aqui davam-me medicamentos para curar a tosse mas nunca foram à procura da origem da tosse.

Since I began to have the first symptoms of my illness one of the ones that always accompanied me was the cough - I have said several times that I have a dog cough - what is certain is that the problem has been getting worse. The doctors until now gave me cough-cough medicines but they have never been looking for the cough origin.

A sério, tenho ataques de tosse em que fico completamente exausta e, normalmente ocorrem durante a noite, está uma pessoa no seu sono de beleza e, de repente, desata a tossir desalmadamente a pontos de ter de se levantar e vaguear pela casa constantemente a tossir, inicialmente beber água resolvia o problema, mas agora já não e, para me chatear muito mais, acabo é por vomitar a água com tanta tosse!!

Seriously, I have coughing attacks in which I stay completely exhausted and usually occur during the night, there is a person in their beauty sleep and suddenly breaks out coughing reluctantly to the points of having to get up and wander around the house constantly coughing, initially drinking water solved the problem, but now it doesn't and, to annoy me a lot more, I end up by vomiting the water with so much cough !!

Já tirei os lençóis polares, acabei com o pijama polar, mas esta tosse, que mais parece uma alergia, não sei a quê, teima em não me dar tréguas. Como já tenho poucas especialidades médicas onde ando a ser seguida, passei a ter mais duas!!! A sério!! Agora vou passar a ter Otorrino para estudar as vias respiratórias e Pneumologia para ver se o problema é dos pulmões!!!

I already took off the polar sheets, I finished with the polar pajamas, but this cough, which looks more like an allergy, I don't know what, don't give me respite. Since I already have few medical specialties where I am being followed, I started to have two more !!! Seriously!! Now I'm going to have Otorhino to study the airways and pulmonology to see if is a lungs problem!!!

Os médicos estão a desconfiar que eu possa estar a fazer alergia a um medicamento, por isso é que têm de ir à origem do problema. Uma coisa é certa quando está muito frio e vento tenho um ataque, mas também se eu estiver com muito calor também me acontece o mesmo. Como estão a pensar que possa ser uma alergia, vim aqui a este lindo jardim de glicínias para testar se sou alérgica às flores, estas especialmente têm um cheirinho muito bom!!

Doctors are wary that I may be allergic to a drug, so they have to go to the origin of the problem. One thing is certain when it's very cold and windy I have a attack, but also if I'm very hot it also happens to me the same. As you they are thinking that may be an allergy, I came here to this beautiful wisteria garden to test if I'm allergic to flowers, these especially have a very good smell !!

Acho que vou doar o meu corpo à ciência em vida já que os médicos gostam tanto de estudar em mim ahahhaha!! Ai que não me posso rir que me dá logo um ataque de tosse ahah!! Cof cof cof cof!!! E vocês têm alguma alergia? São alérgicos ao pólen das flores? Ou a algum alimento? Medicamento? Contem-me tudo nos comentários, vou adorar saber!!!

I think I'm going to donate my body to the science in life since the doctors like it so much to study him ahahhaha !! Oh, I can't laugh, it gives me a coughing attack ahah !! Cof cof cof cof !!!
