Olá! Bem-vindos a mais um fabuloso post dos Looks da Semana! Eu diria que são looks simples para dias quentes de Verão! Não há nenhuma novidade, são tudo peças de roupa já vossas conhecidas. Eu ainda me sinto um pouco destreinada desta rúbrica que eu adorava/adoro fazer. Mas com o tempo isto vai! Fazer três publicações por semana tornou-se bastante desgastante para mim, porque sou muito exigente comigo própria, pelo que agora, decidi fazer uma única publicação semanal!

I'm still feeling a little untrained with this feature that I used to love to do. But with time this will go! Há bastante tempo fiz um post em que vos revelava uma regra de escrita. Se bem se lembram, eu enumerava as várias razões que me impediam de usar as... reticências,podem rever aqui, o que é um facto, é que eu terminei este blog quebrando essa regra, porquê?? Bem, porque não tinha a certeza de ser, de facto, o final do blog. Só sabia que fazê-lo era um desgaste emocional muito grande e que tinha de parar. Regresso, hoje, renovada duma noite escura, muito escura, que durou meses. Foi uma espécie de crise existencial, com outros problemas de saúde à mistura, como nunca foi minha intenção arrastar-vos para um blog depressivo, não suportaria saber que me seguiam nesse caminho, que inevitavelmente, me conduziria a uma queda ainda maior, achei por bem e, que era a melhor solução, dar por terminado o blog. Não espero o vosso perdão por esta decisão tão brusca, mas por vezes temos, como diz o nosso Presidente, "cortar os ramos mortos" da nossa vida, eu não só cortei os ramos como a própria árvore, literalmente como podem constatar nas fotos!!

Hello everyone and welcome to this blog that today, St. John's Day, is reborn from the ashes!
Quite some time ago I made a post in which I revealed to you a writing rule. If you remember, I listed the various reasons that prevented me from using... ellipses, you can review it here, what is a fact, is that I ended this blog breaking that rule, why? Well, because I wasn't sure that it was, in fact, the end of the blog. I only knew that doing it was too much of an emotional drain and that I had to stop. I return today, renewed from a dark night, very dark, that lasted for months. It was a kind of existential crisis, with other health problems mixed in, as it was never my intention to drag you into a depressive blog, I couldn't bear to know that you were following me on this path, which would inevitably lead me to an even greater fall, I thought it was the best solution, to end the blog. I do not expect your forgiveness for such an abrupt decision, but sometimes we must, as our President says, "cut the dead branches" from our lives, I not only cut the branches but the tree itself, literally as you can see in the photos!!!

podemos sempre plantar novas árvores na nossa vida, ou voltar para a
minha árvore de sempre, a minha exuberante magnólia! Foi o que fiz e, em
boa hora o fiz! Não foram tempos fáceis, nada mesmo, o simples facto de
tirar uma foto, mesmo com telemóvel, era penoso para mim. Escrever? Nem
pensar! Dediquei-me a outros trabalhos, voltei a fazer ponto cruz! Sim,
foi um regresso a um trabalho, que para além de relaxante, me permitiu
colocar as ideias no lugar e, é óptimo para estruturar o pensamento!
Também é disciplinador, quando nos colocamos, a nós próprios, metas e
objectivos para a sua execução e finalização. A minha galeria de
trabalhos está cada vez maior, qualquer dia não tenho parede no quarto
para tantas obras ahahah!!
But we can always plant new trees in our life, or go back to my old tree, my lush magnolia! That's what I did, and in good time! It was not an easy time, not at all, just taking a picture, even with a cell phone, was painful for me. To write? No way! I dedicated myself to other works, I went back to cross-stitch! Yes, it was a return to work, which besides being relaxing, allowed me to put my ideas in place and is great for structuring my thoughts! It is also disciplining, when we set ourselves goals and objectives for its execution and completion. My gallery of works is getting bigger and bigger, any day I won't have a wall in my room for so many works hahahah!!!
Este trabalho em ponto cruz
que inspirou este post é bastante complexo ao nível do seu significado,
mais uma vez é um trabalho desenhado por mim, trata-se de
um Brasão de Armas! Apresentado através de uma janela árabe, como sabem as obras de arte são ricas em significados. Eu tenho uma paixão louca por procurar significados novos
dentro das palavras, para além de como já vos falei, de procurar
interpretar o desenho das próprias letras. Então vocês devem-se estar a
perguntar o porquê de uma janela árabe, certo? Eu explico, a palavra
árabe pode ser decomposta em 2 palavras, ara + be. "Ara" é uma pedra de altar, daí eu usar pedras neste bordado, "be", eu faço a distinção entre "ver" e "ber", ver é ver aquilo que está à frente dos olhos, ber, para mim, é ver com óculos, o "B"
no seu desenho são uns óculos. E, vendo com óculos, vemos outros
pormenores, outros detalhes que não estão visíveis a olho nu! Ora, vendo
através desta janela, ou com estes óculos postos nos olhos e, sabendo
que um Brasão de Armas tem a ver com o nosso nome, constatamos logo de
imediato o meu nome Marisa, depois uma espada, porque qualquer Cavaleiro que se preze tem uma espada. E, muitas são as lutas que tenho travado!! A lâmina da espada é também uma Torre,
referência ao meu nome de família Torres. Também podemos ver nesta
espada, uma cruz, acreditem que a minha cruz é bastante pesada! Também a
de Jesus Cristo e, no entanto, é louvada por milhões de pessoas! A minha árvore, a Magnólia
florida, com as raízes bem agarradas à terra e à vida! Depois uma
fogueira num castelo feito de lenha, referência ao post e história a Pira do Conhecimento,
o castelo porque um verdadeiro cavaleiro vive num castelo ah ah!! E o
animal? Já vos falei em dragões, leões e coelhos aqui no blog. No meu
brazão consta um coelho preto, preto porque é um coelho de raça!!! Mas
trata-se de um coelho mentiroso, eu explico já porquê! Como podem ver...
com óculos, o coelho quer comer um fruto vermelho, esse fruto nem vos
passa pela cabeça qual é, não são morangos, não são maçãs ou o fruto
proibído, trata-se, nada mais nada menos, que pimentos corno de cabra ahahahah!! Na realidade este coelho não é um celho, mas uma cabra, ou não fosse o meu signo o Capricórnio!!
Tem muitos mais significados ao nível das cores e do próprio desenho,
mas ficam só para mim Oh!!! Segredos para mais tarde, talvez sim ou
não!!!
This
cross stitch work, which inspired this post is quite complex in terms
of its meaning, once again it is a cross stitch work designed by me, it
is a Coat of Arms! This one is presented through an Arabian
window, as you know works of art are rich in meanings. So you must be
asking yourselves why an Arab window, right? The true explanation can
only be understood in Portuguese, but we can interpret the meaning of a
window as something that opens and allows us to have a view, like a pair
of glasses to better see reality. And, seeing with glasses, we see
other details that are not visible to the naked eye! Now, seeing through
this window, or with these glasses put on our eyes, and knowing that a
Coat of Arms has to do with our name, we immediately see my name Marisa,
then a sword, because any self-respecting knight (my name in portuguese is Cavaleiro=Knight) has a sword. And, many are the fights I have fought! The blade of the sword is also a Tower, a reference to my family name Towers(in portuguese Torres). We can also see on this sword, a cross, believe me my cross is quite heavy! Also the cross of Jesus Christ, and yet it is praised by millions of people! My tree, the flowering Magnolia,
with its roots firmly attached to the earth and to life! Then a bonfire
in a castle made of wood, reference to the post and story the Pyre of Knowledge,
the castle because a true knight lives in a castle ah ah ah!!! And the
animal? I have already told you about dragons, lions and rabbits here on
the blog. On my coat of arms there is a black rabbit, black because it
is a purebred rabbit! But it is a lying rabbit, and I will explain why
in a moment! As you can see... with glasses, the rabbit wants to eat a
red fruit, this fruit doesn't even cross your mind what it is, they are
not strawberries, apples or the forbidden fruit, it is, nothing more or
less, then goat horn peppers ahahahah! In reality this rabbit is not a rabbit, but a goat, or my sign is Capricorn!
It has many more meanings in terms of colors and the design itself, but
that's just for me Oh!!! Secrets for later, maybe yes or no!
Este é, também, um post da Máquina do Tempo. Então, vamos viajar para o dia 28/04/2021! Como podem constatar trata-se da reciclagem de uma saia, que já nesta altura estava larga, como, entretanto, perdi mais peso, a saia estava completamente fora de uso e arrumada numa gaveta, para meu desgosto! O problema é que eu adorava vesti-la, a única solução foi transformá-la num vestido com uns grandes laços, que espero que sejam os laços existentes entre nós, neste mundo da blogsfera, together forever!! Yeah!!
This is also a Time Machine post. So, let's travel to the day 28/04/2021! As you can see, this is the recycling of a skirt, that was already loose by this time, as I lost more weight, the skirt was completely out of use and stored in a drawer, to my disgust! The problem is that I loved wearing it, the only solution was to turn it into a dress with some big bows, which I hope are the bows between us, in this world of blogging, together forever!!! Yeah!
Nesta noite, que durou meses, a minha companhia foi a música (tenho novas músicas inspiradoras para partilhar convosco em futuros posts), como esta que inspirou este post, uma perfomance vocal extraordinária da cantora Skin e muito bem acompanhada instrumentalmente. Aproveito esta oportunidade, já que não o fiz, para vos desejar um bom ano de 2023! Este video é precisamente, um video de final de ano, do ano 2000!!! Acho que é um bom presságio para este regresso, como diz a letra da música, não estou à espera do vosso perdão/compreensão mas espero que me sigam neste caminho ascendente e não descendente! Acreditem que se tivesse continuado, estaria, neste momento, a lamentar-me, tal como esta canção, que não é mais de que um grande lamento! Mais uma informação, não vou publicar tão regularmente, mas para começar acho que está de bom tamanho, não vos parece??

On this night, which lasted months, my company was music (I have new inspiring songs to share with you in future posts), like the one that inspired this post, an extraordinary vocal performance by the singer Skin and very well accompanied instrumentally. I take this opportunity, since I didn't do it, to wish you a great year 2023! This video is precisely an end of the year video from the year 2000! I think it is a great omen for this return, as the lyrics say, I'm not waiting for your forgiveness/comprehension but I hope you will follow me on this upward path and not downward! Believe me, if I had continued, I would be regretting it right now, just like this song, which is nothing but a great lament! One more piece of information, I won't be posting so regularly, but it sounds great to start with, doesn't it?
