Vintage!

E chegámos ao fim do mês - nem acredito que isto passa tão rápido! - dia do projecto Retratografia! Este mês tem por tema: Vintage!! Recriar fotos antigas. Eu adorei este tema!! (E, todos os outros que já passaram). Tentei recriar o mais fielmente os retratos que escolhi, desde as roupas, penteados, acessórios, mas não há volta a dar, a minha fotografa é amadora e isto é um trabalho amador, não temos os recursos ao nível da iluminação que estas fotos exigem, fizemos o melhor que sabíamos!!

A primeira foto que escolhi foi uma foto da minha mãe. Quis fazer-lhe uma homenagem, mas tenho de fazer uma ressalva, para além de não ser parecida com ela e ser loura, tenho que dizer que a minha mãe nesta foto tinha 17 anos e eu tenho 47!!! Ah!! Está visto, está aqui a diferença ahahhah!!

I loved this theme!! - And all the others that have passed - I tried to recreate as faithfully as possible the portraits I chose, from the clothes, hairstyles, accessories, but there is no going back, my photograph is amateur and this is amateur work, we don't have the lighting resources, we did the best we knew!!

The first photo I chose was a picture of my mother. I wanted to pay her a tribute, but I have to make a reservation, in addition to not being like her and being blonde, I have to say that my mother in this photo was 17 years old and I'm 47!!! Ah!! You see, here's the difference ahahhah !!

Depois escolhi essa diva do cinema americano e uma das minhas actrizes preferidas a fantástica Lauren Bacall, se há actriz com carisma esta é o expoente máximo, mais uma vez existe um fosso entre as nossas idades nas fotos e fisionomicamente não temos nada, mesmo nada de parecido!!

Then I chose this diva from American cinema and one of my favorite actresses the amazing Lauren Bacall, if there is an actress with charisma she is the maximum exponent, once again there is a gap between our ages in the photos and physically we have nothing, nothing in common!!

Depois, dois ícones de beleza e sensualidade, a delicadeza de Grace Kelly e a irreverência de Marilyn Monroe!! Esta última foi o meu grande fallhanço, não só não conseguimos a iluminação, como ela é inimitável!! Vocês é que vão dizer, superei o desafio ou não?

Then, two icons of beauty and sensuality, the gracefulness of Grace Kelly and the irreverence of Marilyn Monroe!! This last one was my great failure, not only we didn't achieve enlightenment, as she is inimitable !! Now tell me, have I overcome the challenge or not?

Desafio 3+1 - Marcas Portuguesas

Esta foi uma casa de pescadores de uma pequena praia em Portugal. Aqui viveu uma família, feliz? Ou talvez não!! No jardim podemos ver amores perfeitos, mas será que os amores desta casa eram assim tão perfeitos?

Challenge 3+1 - Portuguese Marks

Este tema vem a propósito de me terem perguntado o que tinha nas pernas, no último post vê-se nas minhas pernas e joelho umas marcas castanhas que mais parecem umas nódoas negras - as marcas portuguesas da violência - quero vos sossegar, eu não sou vítima de violência doméstica, aquelas marcas são cicatrizes derivadas da doença que tenho.

This issue is because a reader ask me what I had in my legs, in the last post you can see in my legs and knee brown spots that look more like bruises - the portuguese marks of violence - I want to calm you, I'm not a victim of domestic violence, those marks are scars derived from the disease I have.

O meu look pretende ser uma homenagem a todas as mulheres. Em Portugal, há uma frase que se diz muito e, que deveria ser ensinada aos homens desde pequeninos: Numa mulher não se bate nem com uma flor!! Gostam do meu quimono bordado com flores? É uma homenagem!! Eu achei-o lindo!! E, para quem gosta de ir ao baú das recordações este conjunto de saia e top usei-o aqui num outro look!!

My look is meant to be a tribute to all women, in Portugal there is a sentence that says a lot and that should be taught to men since they were little ones: A woman should not be touched not even with a flower!! Do you like my kimono embroidered with flowers? it's a tribute!! It's beautiful, don't you think? E, para vocês mulheres que por vezes se arrastam em relações em que os vossos companheiros não vos respeitam, só para não ficarem sozinhas, acreditem estão muito melhores sozinhas, exijam respeito ou tenham respeito por vocês próprias e, nunca é demais relembrar "Numa mulher não se bate nem com uma flor!!" E vamos acabar com estas marcas portuguesas!!

And for you women who sometimes get into relationships in which your companions don't respect you, just because you don't want to be alone, believe that you are much better alone, you demand respect or you must respect yourselves, and it's never too much to remember " A woman should not be touched not even with a flower!!" Look Nº 438 - Vikings!!

Este vai ser o post mais sério deste blog. Isto porque já me sinto capaz de falar na minha doença. Depois da surpresa e do baque que foi receber a notícia, até porque não era uma doença esperada e, por isso foi das últimas a ser pesquisadas pelos médicos, ou seja, quando tudo dava negativo temos de partir para o improvável. E, o improvável deu positivo.

This will be the most serious post on this blog. This is because I already feel able to speak of my illness. After the surprise and the shock that was to know the diagnosis, because it was not an expected disease and so it was the last to be searched by the doctors, or when everything was negative we have to go to the improbable. And, the improbable was positive.

Trata-se de uma doença hereditária, passa de pais para filhos and so on!! Como na minha família não havia nenhum caso desta doença, nunca se fez a pesquisa para ela. Agora sei que muito provavelmente o meu pai a teria, só que não viveu o suficiente para se saber. Decidi que posso ser uma inspiração para outras pessoas e que posso colocar à disposição de outras, os conhecimentos que entretanto adquiri.

It's a hereditary disease, it changes from parents to children and so on!! Since there were no cases of this disease in my family, the research was never done for her. Now I know that my father would probably have her, but he didn't live long enough to know. I have decided that I can be an inspiration to other people and that I can pass to others the knowledge that I have acquired in the meantime.

É uma doença rara e posso dizer que em Portugal apenas 1500 pessoas a têm e, afecta 600 famílias!! Parece uma contradição isto que estou a dizer, porque na zona onde habito há muitos casos desta doença, isto porque é uma doença localizada.

It's a rare disease and I can say that in Portugal only 1500 people have it and affects 600 families!! It seems a contradiction what I am saying, because where I live there are many cases of this disease, because it's a localized disease.

Em Portugal aparece apenas a norte da Figueira da Foz em cidades portuárias, Aveiro, Póvoa de Varzim, Matosinhos. Isto tem uma explicação - que eu conto já a seguir - esta doença existe apenas em Portugal (apesar de se dizer que é uma doença portuguesa, mas vão já a ficar a saber que isso não é verdade) Suécia, Dinamarca e curiosamente no Japão!!

As for the missing explanation, the disease was brought to Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - by the Vikings!!! Seriously!!! I have Viking blood running in my veins !! I even remember a curious story about a cousin. When I was little a cousin said I was foreign, because I had blue eyes and blonde hair !! Nothing Portuguese ahahah !! And, now I know this comes from Sweden, I'm Swedish ahahah !!! Viking!!! Beware of whoever messes with me !!! Look at me on a Viking boat, sort of !!!

Curiosa, outra história, há uns tempos fui a um concurso na televisão e o apresentador disse-me que eu tinha um ar nórdico!!! Não é que acertou!!!! Estava com uma Sueca à frente e nem sabia!!! Nem eu!!! Bem, mas isto é um post sério, portanto vou revelar qual foi o meu diagnóstico - posso falar noutro post quais são os sintomas e o que acontece a quem tem esta doença -: Tenho a PAF, ou mais conhecida por Paramiloidose, ou ainda Doença dos Pezinhos. Ai de quem se meta comigo!! Porque eu sou Viking!!!

Look Nº 437 - Waves of Desire!

Quero que este post tenha o sabor e o cheiro de café, tal foi o meu desejo desta bebida maravilhosa ao longo de mais de um ano de abstinência. É isso mesmo, depois deste tempo todo, bebi o meu primeiro café yeah!!! Onde é que já se viu a Miúda do café sem beber café!!! Nem pensar!!

I want this post to have the taste and smell of coffee, such was my desire for this wonderful drink over more than a year of abstinence. That's right, after all this time, I drank my first coffee yeah!!! The coffee shop girl without drinking coffee!!! No way!!

Esta é a segunda grande novidade que tinha para vos dar, depois dos vegetais, o café, não é fantástico? Nem vos conto as saudades que eu tinha de beber um bom café expresso numa chávena a ferver!!

Look Nº 436 - We Are The Champions!

Este blog é sobre tudo o que eu gosto, sobre a minha vida, é como se fosse um diário. Tento que seja o mais divertido possível, mas por vezes tem mesmo de ser sério!! Mas hoje não é o caso!! É sobre uma paixão que tenho há muito tempo, desde que me lembro de ser gente que sou adepta do Benfica!

This blog is about everything I love, about my life, it's like a diary. I try to make it as fun as possible, but sometimes it has to be serious !! But today is not the case !! It's about a passion that I have for a long time, since I remember being people that I'm a Benfica fan!

O Benfica é um club de futebol. Ainda as miúdas do meu tempo não gostavam de futebol, já eu adorava ver todos os jogos, conhecia todos os jogadores e, sabia tudo sobre futebol!! Agora já não sou assim, gosto de saber que o Benfica ganha, mas também respeito os adversários e compreendo que os outros também têm de ganhar, porque senão isto não tem piada nenhuma!!

Benfica is a football - soccer - club. The girls of my time didn't like football and I loved watching all the games, I knew all the players and I knew everything about soccer!! Now I am not like that, I like to know that Benfica wins but also respect the opponents and I understand that others also have to win because otherwise this is not funny at all !!

Mas quando ganhamos é tão bom!!! E ontem o Benfica sagrou-se Campeão Nacional de Futebol yeah!!! Viva!!!

Como este também é um blog de moda, lembrei-me de dar uma sugestão de look para ir ver o futebol ao centro comercial, num ecrã gigante. Foi o que fiz ontem, fui com o meu tio, comemos pipocas e vibrámos com os golos do Benfica!!! As cores do Benfica são o vermelho e branco, portanto fui vestida a rigor, com cachecol e garganta para gritar a cada golo!!!

As this is also a fashion blog, I remembered to give a look suggestion to go watch football at the mall on a giant screen. That's what I did yesterday, I went with my uncle, we ate popcorn and we vibrated with Benfica goals!!! The colors of Benfica are red and white, so I was dressed to perfection, with scarf and throat to scream at every goal!!!

Portanto, minhas amigas estrangeiras, ficam já a saber que o melhor clube de futebol português é o Benfica, é o clube que tem mais adeptos e ser do Benfica não se explica, sente-se!!! Benfica!! Benfica!! Benfica!!

So, my foreign friends, you know already, that the best Portuguese football club is Benfica, it's the club that has the highest number of fans and being from Benfica we can not explain it, we feel it!!! Benfica!! Benfica!! Benfica!!
