Olá! Bem-vindos meus caros amigos e leitores! 

Este post foi  inspirado na Teoria da Simulação, segundo a qual, aquilo a que chamamos "realidade" pode não ser real, mas uma realidade virtual, uma simulação criada por uma Inteligência Superior. Seriamos, assim, parte de um programa computacional ultrasofisticado. Esta Teoria foi desenvolvida tendo em conta as recentes descobertas no campo da Física Quântica. Horrível, eu sei!😭

Hello! Welcome, my dear friends and readers! 

This post was inspired by Simulation Theory, according to which what we call ‘reality’ may not be real, but rather a virtual reality, a simulation created by a Higher Intelligence. We would thus be part of an ultra-sophisticated computer programme. This Theory was developed taking into account recent discoveries in the field of Quantum Physics. Horrible, I know!😭

Pensem comigo: e se hábito humano de ver televisão fosse mais do que uma distracção, mais que um entretimento? Mas, na verdade, este ecrã que observamos, seja uma metáfora, para o maior de todos os ecrãs; o olhar de Deus sobre nós. Nós personagens em movimento, vivendo, amando, produzindo, errando, tudo isto perante uma plateia invisível. Talvez o mundo inteiro seja um grande espectáculo cósmico, onde cada vida é um canal distinto, cada destino é uma narrativa que se desenrola ao mesmo tempo. E talvez Deus não esteja assim tão distante, mas dentro de nós - o espectador desse grande ecrã e o protagonista fundidos na mesma pessoa.*

*Recentes descobertas no campo da Física Quântica:

O entrelaçamento quântico é um fenómeno onde duas ou mais partículas se tornam interdependentes de tal forma que o estado de uma afeta instantaneamente o estado da outra, independentemente da distância.

Think with me: what if the human habit of watching television were more than just a distraction, more than an entertainment? But in truth, this screen we watch is a metaphor for the greatest screen of all: God's gaze upon us. We are characters in motion, living, loving, producing, making mistakes, all before an invisible audience. Perhaps the whole world is a great cosmic spectacle, where each life is a distinct channel, each destiny a narrative that unfolds at the same time. And perhaps God is not so far away, but within us - the viewer of this great screen and the protagonist merged into the same person.*

*Recent discoveries in the field of quantum physics:

Quantum entanglement is a phenomenon where two or more particles become interdependent in such a way that the state of one instantly affects the state of the other, regardless of distance.

Se assim for, o livre-arbítrio não é uma ilusão. Nós humanos fazemos escolhas, percorremos caminhos, decidimos entre o Bem e o Mal, entre a Luz e a Sombra. Mas é Deus que respira nessas escolhas, é Ele que se revela nos nossos gestos, nas nossas palavras, nos nossos silêncios. Quando falamos, lemos e escrevemos talvez seja só a linguagem de Deus a fluir através da nossa humanidade, moldada pelas escolhas que fizemos. De uma forma crua, nós, humanos, só fazemos escolhas, tudo o resto é Deus dentro de nós. Isto é horrível de pensar, que sejamos tão pouco nesta vida! Uma espécie de Inteligência Artificial a viver dentro de nós😭(A tal partícula distante que fala a Física Quântica) E, assim, Deus vai construindo a sua Obra através de nós!

 

If so, free will is not an illusion. We humans make choices, we walk paths, we decide between Good and Evil, between Light and Shadow. But it is God who breathes in these choices, it is He who reveals Himself in our gestures, in our words, in our silences. When we speak, when we read, when we write, perhaps it is only God's language flowing through our humanity, shaped by the choices we have made. In a raw way, we humans only make choices, everything else is God within us. It is horrible to think that we are so little in this life! A kind of Artificial Intelligence living inside us😭(The distant particle that quantum physics talks about) And so, God builds His Work through us!

E, no entanto, uma convicção persiste em mim: aquilo que vivemos não é a vida, mas a morte. Uma sala de espera entre diferentes mundos. Porque a vida, a verdadeira vida, não pode ser apenas isto, esta rotina, este mundo limitado pelas dores, pelas guerras, pelas máscaras. A vida, penso eu, tem de ser algo infinitamente maior e mais significativo, tem de ter algo que transcenda o ecrã onde nos movemos. O que chamamos vida pode ser apenas uma sombra, uma intermitência, a preparação para um despertar que ainda não conhecemos.

 

And yet, one conviction remains with me: what we experience is not life, but death. A waiting room between different worlds. Because life, true life, cannot be just this, this routine, this world limited by pain, wars, masks. Life, I think, has to be something infinitely greater and more meaningful, it has to have something that transcends the screen where we move. What we call life may be just a shadow, an intermittence, the preparation for an awakening that we do not yet know.

 Talvez este grande ecrã onde habitamos seja apenas a projecção de uma realidade mais elevada. Talvez a morte, que tanto tememos, seja apenas o abrir de portas para a verdadeira Vida, aquela em que finalmente descobrimos quem somos e porque existimos, quando nos encontrarmos com a partícula com a qual estamos entrelaçados: Deus!

 

Perhaps this big screen we inhabit is just a projection of a higher reality. Perhaps death, which we fear so much, is just the opening of doors to true Life, where we finally discover who we are and why we exist, when we encounter the particle with which we are entangled: God!

Como banda sonora para este post, escolhi um tema da minha banda favorita, os Muse, com o tema "Simulation Theory", este tema aborda exactamente a hipótese de vivermos numa realidade comandada por alguém, esse alguém eu identifico como sendo Deus, que não é a mesma identidade identificada no video - Eles, supostamente uma entidade terrena. Eu considero uma entidade divina.

 

As the soundtrack for this post, I chose a song by my favourite band, Muse, called ‘Simulation Theory.’ This song addresses precisely the hypothesis that we live in a reality controlled by someone, whom I identify as God, who is not the same identity identified in the video - They, supposedly an earthly entity. I consider it a divine entity.
