Olá! Bem-vindos meus caros amigos e leitores!
Hello! Welcome, my dear friends and readers! This is the last post in the trilogy of posts I have been presenting. In this one, I am going to talk to you about Charles Darwin, who, according to his theory, believes that the evolution of species has been achieved through a process he called Natural Selection. Just to remind you, this explains that the animals that are best adapted to the environment, the strongest and with the best characteristics, reproduce more, passing these characteristics on to their descendants, which leads to the evolution of species. Those best adapted to the environment are more likely to survive and reproduce. But is this true for human beings? Can we apply Darwin's theory?
If it is the strongest who survive, we know that the humans who progress are not always the strongest, but those who cheat, those who step on others to get ahead. Are these the strongest? Those with the best characteristics to pass on to future generations? And what kind of generations will these be? What values will they have? On the other hand, aren't those who have difficult lives, those who advance slowly, the strongest? What I conclude is that humanity as it stands, natural selection has been made with weak characteristics, not with ethical characteristics, integrity and empathy. I conclude that for men, selection is unnatural.
Now let me give you a practical example: If someone sees an innocent person being treated unfairly and does nothing, they are just as guilty as those who caused the injustice! In my opinion, those who just stand by and watch are just as guilty as the others and are not worthy of trust. These are the truly weak who evolve! But I am not satisfied with this truth! According to the Book of Revelation, the end of time is near, and so is the victory of good over evil, as well as the renewal of creation.
This book uses symbolic language with many visions of dragons and beasts to reveal secrets that will encourage the faithful during persecutions. Introducing yet another new element to this text, in my opinion, the third secret that Our Lady of Fatima revealed to Lucia is a kind of addendum to the Book of Revelation, since the vision that Lucia had is similar in every way. In my opinion, the interpretation of the secret made by the then Cardinal Ratzinger is wrong. The vision has not yet happened, but it is about to happen.
Eschatologically speaking, the end of the world is near, and the unnatural selection we have reached will not please God. A renewal of creation – as described in the Book of Revelation – will only make sense with human beings who are ethically and empathetically evolved, etc. If you noticed, I related Darwin's Theory of Evolution, the Book of Revelation and the Third Secret of Fatima.

If you've made it to the end of this post, congratulations, it's not an easy read. Now I'll leave you with a video featuring a song that complements this reflection. The song is by Muse: ‘The Unnatural Selection.’
