Será a técnica?
Hello! Welcome to another fabulous post from Looks of the Week! Today I'm going to talk about what Art is! This is a difficult topic. Why do some people appreciate it and others don't? It's a subjective topic. Why should we be exposed to works of art from an early age? So that our eyes are more trained and sensitive to the questions that Art raises. It is food for the soul, it can be music, architecture, etc. But what makes something be classified as Art? Is it the technique? The emotion it provokes in us? Or the impact it leaves on us? There are indeed many questions that Art raises. Some works span centuries, others fade away in a couple of years. Why does this happen? Perhaps it is the audacity to break rules, to defy time, to be, above all, something new! That is why it is so subjective. Some love it, others hate it. And that's okay. Maybe that's it! Of course, there are people for whom art is boring and a waste of time. They don't know what they're missing! But my dear readers are not missing out, because I have 5 looks to offer you that will make any Chanel outfit jealous! 5 works of art in casual street wear! Take care, stay with art!

This dress from 2018 is still fashionable, I think there's no doubt about that. If you saw this dress in a shop, no one would guess it's already seven years old! I still love it and every summer it gets its photo taken. In terms of art, this dress has stood the test of time!

Hello! Welcome, my dear friends and readers! I am at Quinta das Lágrimas. There is something about this place that I cannot quite explain, but it captivates me. Perhaps it is the silence, or perhaps it is the history that permeates every corner. Everything here speaks to me of past lives. Everything seems to whisper, as if time has stopped.
I have always been fascinated by history. Not by the great events themselves, but by the people who lived through them. I like to think about them – who they were, what they felt, what they talked about as they walked around here, unaware that one day they would be nothing more than memories, names in books, legends told. Today, they are just remnants of a time that will never return, but which silently remain among falling leaves and in the shadows of ancient walls.
I like coming here. Walking among the trees is like walking inside a living book. It's like stepping into a time machine, but without engines or gadgets - you just have to be attentive and listen to the silence. There is something beautiful, and sad, about these remnants of a play that has already ended, but whose set is still standing. It's as if this place understands me. Here I can hear what is usually drowned out by noise in everyday life. It's a travel through time, but also a travel inside myself.
Today I did not come to tell the story of this place—I have done so many times before. Today I came just to be here. To let my eyes rest on beauty, even if that beauty has something tragic about it. And in this silence filled with the past, I find comfort, as if this beauty that hurts teaches us to see with greater clarity.
O sonho comanda a vida. E eu comando a minha com sonhos, beleza e cor! Espero que gostem tanto quanto eu!
Hello! Welcome to another fabulous post from Looks of the Week! They say I've lost the ability to dream! That I've stopped believing, that I live clinging to a heavy reality in a succession of difficult days. That's not true! I'm a dreamer. One of those who travels in her thoughts, one of those who allows herself to imagine lighter and more beautiful worlds. In fact, this blog is a dream. A space I created to reinvent myself, to create beauty, even when my body fails me, even when the pain is present, only those who suffer from chronic illnesses can understand. Dreams give us encouragement, even when our bodies don't get better, even when the passing of the years only worsens our condition. It is through dreams that we move forward! That is also why I am presenting you with 5 dream looks. Because fashion, like dreams, has the power to transport and transform us, to remind us that we are much more than the pain we carry! Dreams rule life. And I rule mine with dreams, beauty and colour! I hope you like them as much as I do!

Restyling a dress is never an easy process, because a dress is a dress and there isn't much else you can do with it. What I propose is to change the mood, from a more casual style in 2020 to a more chic style in 2025. All this is done by changing the shoes and accessories. Despite the five years that have passed, it is still a dream dress!

Olá! Bem-vindos, meus caros leitores e amigos deste blog!
Hello! Welcome, dear readers and friends of this blog! Today is the day to talk about trivialities, which is also necessary! I think there is something deeply invigorating about going to the hairdresser. We pamper our hair, give it a new colour, get a different cut, it's a magical process! For me, it's more effective than a visit to the psychiatrist. Our soul seems to rejuvenate, our mood changes, and we leave feeling like we can conquer the world! My world, at least!
It's like a spa for self-esteem. A ritual, which is now very fashionable, self-care! We sit down in that chair tired, with our souls in disarray. But little by little, between the sound of scissors and the smell of products along with the heat of the dryer, something inside us begins to change. When we look in the mirror at the end, it seems like we have gained a new light!
My body thanks me. My mind too. It's one of my favourite antidepressants. It's a somewhat transformative process; I go in one woman and come out another. With my spirits high and the sparkle in my eyes restored. The truth is, I really feel like a different person. More confident. Lighter! Do you like going to the hairdresser?
I know that there are also women who like to have gel nails done. I confess that I have never had them done. I don't have the patience to keep my hands in that oven, but I believe it also works miracles. There are nail designs that are authentic works of art, and your self-esteem will be sky high!
Now I'm curious, what gives you more pleasure - taking care of your hair or your nails? Which of these little treats transforms you inside and out?

This 2022 dress turned out really well in this restyling. I think it's even better. It's an ideal dress for those days that aren't too hot. It's made of tweed fabric, which is a little thicker. Great for wearing in the late afternoon.

Olá! Sejam muito bem-vindos quem vier por bem! Hoje vou falar-vos do assunto do momento!
Hello! Welcome to all who come in peace! Today I'm going to talk to you about the topic of the moment! If you think you've seen it all, I can tell you that you haven't seen anything yet! This is about the latest consumer craze that has swept the planet! Do you remember playing with dolls called Baby Born when we were children?
Well, these babies are back, but now they are handmade from vinyl/silicone, hyper-realistic babies with natural hair, looking like real newborns and costing more than an iPhone. They even pee (simulated)!! I'm talking about Baby Reborn, the new generation! The craze is global, but it's driving Brazilian women especially crazy! Yes, this phenomenon has taken over Brazil.
In this country, influencers – and others – even throw babyshower parties with these dolls. They parade around shopping centres with prams as if they were walking a real newborn. Amazingly, there are even those who use these babies to deal with pregnancy loss. The phenomenon went viral... and controversy ensued! The paranoia is so great that they use these babies to get priority in queues and parking spaces! But there's more, they even take them to the paediatrician! And what's more, they simulate the birth of these reborn babies!!??!!
All this led to the government itself having to intervene. Some policies aim to fine those who take the joke too far. Others defend this business, which has already generated millions of reais in sales in the last year.
Finally, these hyper-realistic babies tell us that affection can manifest itself in many ways. Personally, I think that this exaggerated behaviour reveals many emotional and affectionate needs. One thing is certain: Brazil has never been the same since the Baby Reborn craze! Perhaps Baby Reborn dolls are just that: a modern way of reliving old childhood!
