Hello! Welcome to another fabulous “Looks of the Week” post! All across Europe, in major cities, protests are multiplying—and the same is happening in Portugal! Here, people are fighting for the right to housing. For years, no affordable housing was built; instead, housing was built for the rich and the very rich, as well as for foreigners. I stand in solidarity with the protesters; I think they’re absolutely right. The EU governs for capital, not for ordinary people. Those who thought the lure of the Erasmus program and the free movement of people would silence the younger generations—here is clear proof that these younger generations also know how to fight. They woke up too late, and now they’re paying a high price: they have no homes to live in and thus can’t start their lives. I’m from an older generation, and I wasn’t able to buy a home either. Today I know that my life was sabotaged by a group of people, but that’s a topic for another post. To wrap things up, here are 5 looks to remind you that some battles are worth fighting, while others… well, I’ll talk about those in another post too! See you soon!!!
