 Olá! Bem-vindos, meus caros amigos e leitores! Hoje em Portugal é feriado nacional. Comemora-se um acontecimento muito importante da História de Portugal. Este lindo país à beira mar plantado foi fundado em 1143, tendo sido sempre independente, à excepção de 60 anos, em que perdemos a nossa indepência para Espanha, nosso arqui-inimigo. Esse período negro da nossa história foi chamado de Domínio Filipino, pois os reis espanhóis que reinaram nesse período foram: Felipe II, Felipe III e Felipe IV.

Actualmente, as nossas relações com Espanha são cordiais, o tempo das batalhas há muito que terminou e, atrevo-me a dizer que ambos os países nutrem uma certa admiração e respeito um pelo outro. Mostrando, deste modo, a outros países que é possível inimigos de longa data viverem em cooperação estreita, em paz!

Mas essa paz tem de ser alimentada, os países devem apostar no seu desenvolvimento e na formação de crianças e jovens. Tem-se de atingir um patamar elevado de desenvolvimento intelectual e de conhecimento. Só assim é possível um entendimento justo para ambas as partes. Se um dos lados mantém o seu povo ignorante, então estarão sempre em inferioridade perante o outro!

But this peace must be nurtured; countries must invest in its development and in the education of children and young people. A high level of intellectual development and knowledge must be achieved. Only then will it be possible for both sides to reach a fair understanding. If one side keeps its people ignorant, then they will always be at a disadvantage compared to the other!

Onde quero chegar com esta conversa toda, é que se o povo palestiniano não apostar, para além da sua reconstrução, na educação e formação das suas crianças e jovens, o seu futuro estará ameaçado para sempre. Estas crianças/jovens não conhecem outra realidade senão a guerra e o ódio ao inimigo israelita. A Palestina será um viveiro de futuros terroristas!

Por isso te digo, minha cara amiga Allie - "eu sou uma pessoa que sabe o que é o sofrimento, não o sofrimento ligeiro, mas o profundo, o da alma e do corpo. Mas tenho, ainda, de ser mais forte na argumentação! Mas é preciso perguntar de que lado vocês estão, quando homens/crianças correm desesperadamente com uma malga de plástico na mão, para receberem uma gosma parecida com uma sopa para matarem a fome de meses? Nesta corrida pela sobrevivência são alvejados pelos soldados israelitas que fazem deles tiro ao alvo." É preciso perguntar de que lado vocês estão? É preciso? Não me venham com a conversa de que Israel é uma democracia e os Palestinianos são todos terroristas. Isso pouco importa, porque o que foi feito foi uma barbárie. Agora, coloquem-se e, coloquem os vossos filhos, no lugar dos palestinianos! Não são merecedores de compaixão? De empatia? Se defender os mais fracos e oprimidos é ser racista, então eu sou racista!
