Esta semana fui até à praia. Para me distrair, levei um livro que já estava a criar raízes na minha estante, aliás, eu própria já não me lembrava que o tinha comprado lá pelos idos anos 2006/7!! Nem a propósito para os tempos de pandemia que correm!! O livro é este que vos apresento na foto! Surpresa!! Como será o mundo em 2020?

Li-o na diagonal, confesso, uma tarde de praia não dava para mais, mas consegui perceber o essencial. Digamos que o livro desenvolve 4 cenários possíveis para o ano 2020! Desses cenários o que mais se aproxima da realidade que estamos a viver é o cenário, a que o autor chama de "Ciclo do Medo", não muito diferente do que vivemos, mas este ciclo do medo é motivado pela a utilização de armas de destruição maciça o que leva os estados a tomar medidas de segurança apertadas.

Of these scenarios, the closest thing to the reality we are experiencing is the scenario, which the author calls "Cycle of Fear", not unlike what we live in, but this cycle of fear is motivated by the use of weapons of mass destruction which leads states to take tight security measures.

O autor não se enganou muito, porque essa arma trata-se de uma arma biológica, um virus que minou o mundo inteiro! Curiosamente sempre tive um mau pressentimento com o número 20, o ano 2020 é uma tragédia humana e económica, acho que nem o autor imaginou um cenário destes! O ano 2021 afigura-se ainda mais díficil e, o cenário de bancarrota é uma possibilidade, não só para Portugal mas para outros países com economias mais débeis!

The author was not far wrong, because this weapon is a biological weapon, a virus that has undermined the entire world! Curiously, I always had a bad feeling about the number 20, the year 2020 is a human and economic tragedy, I don't think even the author imagined such a scenario! A última vez que fui a um Centro Comercial foi no passado mês de Fevereiro. Parece que foi há séculos!! Recentemente tive que ir a uma loja que só existe lá, foi a minha estreia depois de tantos meses de isolamento. Fiquei espantada com a nova realidade!

As lojas praticamente vazias de pessoas. Acreditam que a Zara estava às moscas!! A Zara!! Incrível, nunca pensei ver uma loja da Zara assim, sem ninguém nos provadores!! E, a roupa? Até a roupa mudou muito, agora é minimalista e confortável, própria para estar em casa em teletrabalho ou em quarentena!
Mas, o que mais me impressionou foi constatar o medo na cara das pessoas! Circuitos marcados no chão para as pessoas circularem em maior segurança, aquilo que era, antes da pandemia, um prazeiroso passeio de domingo no shopping, agora só por extrema necessidade se vai lá!! Essa é que é essa!!

Mas o mais grave que constatei foi que para aí 40% dos empregos do shopping foram destruídos, não há clientes, não há empregos obviamente!! A imagem mais esmagadora que me ficou foi a Zara sem o mulherio habitual!! E, vocês já foram ao centro comercial? Qual foi a vossa experiência?? Há quem pense que fui fazer uma operação estética ao nariz, a sério!! Mas não, não fui! Como já disse tinha polipos no nariz, não tinha olfacto, para além de ter uma permanente constipação nasal. Fui operada por grande necessidade e, digo-vos que a recuperação não foi nada fácil!! Por isso pergunto-me como muitas mulheres têm coragem para fazer cirurgias estéticas ao nariz? É horrível!!
There are those who think I went to have cosmetic surgery on the nose (nose job), seriously !! But no, I didn't! As I said, I had polyps in my nose, I had no smell, in addition to having a permanent nasal cold. I did this nose job for great need and, I tell you that the recovery was not easy!! So I wonder how many women have the courage to do nose job? It's horrible!!
Outras há, que está mais que na cara, que fizeram intervenções estéticas e não o admitem, sendo mesmo capazes de jurar a pés juntos que nunca o fizeram!! E, aquelas que põem silicone nas mamas e dizem que têm um peito natural, pá, não posso!!! Qual é o mal em admitir? Porque não se assumem? Qual é o mal? Nem todos somos perfeitos!!

Mas estas pessoas são tão hipócritas que querem dar a ideia que são assim perfeitas sem terem ido ao bisturi! E, agora vão-me cair em cima, uma dessas pessoas que não admite que já passou pelo bisturi é a Pipoca ( blogger)! Mas aponta o dedo a quem o faz, ainda no outro dia, li um comentário dela a dizer que a Luciana Abreu tinha cara de quem tinha ido ao bisturi!!! E, então what's the problem?? Querem um exemplo internacional, o nosso Cristiano Ronaldo!! Olhem só que diferença!!! E, vocês tinham coragem para fazer cirurgias plásticas?

One of those people who doesn’t admit is Pipoca - most famous portuguese blogger! But she points her finger at whoever does it, just the other day I read her comment saying that Luciana Abreu looked like someone who had gone to the scalpel, look at her face!!! Esta paragem no blog serviu, não só, para recarregar as baterias, mas também, para perceber o quanto é importante para mim ter este blog. This break on the blog served not only to recharge my batteries, but also to realize how important it is for me to have this blog. In other words, I wanted to understand the real importance that the blog has in my life. And when I'm talking on the blog it means: the interaction I have with my readers and commentators; the work I have to do "behind the scenes", from research, photography, etc., to present you with a product with a minimum of quality.
Cheguei à conclusão que o blog é muito importante na minha vida. Obriga-me a trabalhar, a pensar nos assuntos que tenho para falar a ter de ser uma relações públicas com as marcas que apostam em mim. É, portanto, um trabalho muito diversificado e exige que eu desenvolva várias facetas da minha personalidade. Esta foi a grande conclusão que eu tirei desta pequena paragem: Eu sou muito mais feliz a desenvolver este trabalho. A minha vida é muito mais preenchida e rica!
I came to the conclusion that the blog is very important in my life. It forces me to work, to think about the issues I have to talk about, having to be public relations with the brands that bet on me. It is, therefore, a very diverse job and requires me to develop several facets of my personality. This was the great conclusion that I drew from this small break: I am much happier to develop this work. My life is much more fulfilled and rich!
