Dos acontecimentos desta semana, destaco um a nível nacional, acho escandaloso, vergonhoso, indigno para a classe profissional dos professores, o caso do professor que foi colocado numa escola a mais de 400km da sua cidade e que não tem dinheiro para alugar uma casa, ou quarto, na nova cidade. Não teve outra alternativa senão dormir dentro da sua carrinha!!!! Ao estado a que isto chegou! Depois como é que podem respeitar os professores? Este professor para poder dar aulas tem de se tornar um sem abrigo! Onde é que isto já se viu??? Como é que podemos ter um Portugal moderno e atrairmos massa cinzenta dos recém licenciados se tratamos assim as pessoas! Estou envergonhada do meu país!👎👎👎👎
Hello and welcome to another fabulous Looks of the Week post! Of this week's events, I'd like to highlight one at a national level, which I think is scandalous, shameful and undignified for the professional class of teachers: the case of the teacher who was posted to a school more than 400km from his home town and had no money to rent a house or room in the new town. He had no choice but to sleep in his van!!!! This is what it's come to! Then how can they respect teachers? In order to teach, this teacher has to become homeless! But is everything crazy? How can we have a modern Portugal and attract gray matter from recent graduates if we treat people like this! I'm ashamed of my country! 👎👎👎👎

This is one of the few fashion trends I like this season, metallised tones like gold and silver. And, because I like it so much, there were already pieces in my wardrobe! I'm talking about these magnificent golden pants which, apart from summer, are very warm, they can be worn all year round. They make for very sophisticated looks with that touch of gold!

Hello, how are you doing? The photos in this post were the first ones I took right after I had my nose job! They've been in the archive for a while now, so it's time they saw the light of day!!! I know I've got you used to higher quality posts, in terms of photo montage, but I haven't had the time for that and also because I can't always keep the posts at a high quality. Não gosto das cores, não gosto mesmo nada, não gosto das formas, acho que os modelos não são nada elegantes, mesmo nada! Enfim, um tremendo desgosto, volta moda dopamina que estás perdoada! I don't like the colors, I really don't, I don't like the shapes, I don't think the models are elegant at all, not at all! Estou aqui a pensar com os meus botões como é que vou contar esta história, "talvez eu deva de ser mais discreta"! Vocês acusam-me de "falar demasiado" hahaha!! Vou começar por dizer-vos que me encontro no Mosteiro de Alcobaça - o mais belo Mosteiro de Portugal - aqui estão sepultados, um rei e uma rainha, que foram os protagonistas da mais bela história de amor, mas também a mais trágica, da História de Portugal. Inseparáveis na vida e na morte! Por isso, HOJE vai ser tudo em dose dupla, inseparável de mim própria! "Eu vou servir-vos um doce açucarado", que é o que este post é!
I'm thinking to myself how I'm going to tell this story, "maybe I should be more discreet"! You accuse me of "talk too much" hahaha!!! I'll start by telling you that I'm in the Monastery of Alcobaça - the most beautiful monastery in Portugal - where a king and queen are buried, the protagonists of the most beautiful love story in Portuguese history, but also the most tragic. Inseparable in life and in death! So TODAY it's all going to be a double dose, inseparable from myself! "I'm going to serve you up some sugary sweet", which is what this post is!
- Because Pedro was already married!
- Because Inês was Lady-in-Waiting to Pedro's wife. A scandal!

A relação de D. Pedro com esta espanhola não era aceite pelo seu pai, o Rei de Portugal e também pela corte, que via nesta união uma ameaça à independência de Portugal. O Reino de Castela - actual Espanha - sempre ambicionou conquistar Portugal. Entretanto, a mulher de D. Pedro morre e D. Pedro passa a viver maritalmente com D. Inês de quem tem 3 filhos! Pedro, que num acto tresloucado manda contratar 3 homens para assassinar D. Inês! "E isto não é uma verdadeira proeza"!
Pedro's relationship with this Spanish woman was not accepted by his father, the King of Portugal, and also by the court, which saw this union as a threat to Portugal's independence. Quanto ao meu look, escolhi este vestido de padrão floral, com isso, pretendi homenagear os tecidos chamados Chitas de Alcobaça. Este tipo de tecido - chita - foi trazido pelos portugueses da Índia, no séc. XV e, a partir de Portugal foram comercializados por toda a Europa. Aqui, em Alcobaça estabeleceram-se fábricas que o produziram, existem muitas estampas e motivos, mas as mais comuns são as florais, foi díficil conseguir fotos das chitas mais bonitas, pois as poucas fotos que existem estão protegidas por direitos de autor!
As for my look, I chose this floral patterned dress to honour the
fabrics called Chitas de Alcobaça. This type of fabric - chintz - was
brought by the Portuguese from India in the 15th century and, from
Portugal, was commercialised throughout Europe. There are many prints
and motifs, but the most common are floral. It was difficult to get
photos of the most beautiful chintz, as the few photos that exist are
protected by copyright!
There are only two shops in Portugal that sell this fabric, one in Alcobaça and the other in Porto. New designers are trying to find new uses for it, such as decoration. With such a beautiful history, it is urgent that this fabric is given its due value and that this Portuguese heritage is not allowed to die. It must be defended and protected so that it doesn't disappear into the foam of days!
As for the song I've chosen to soundtrack this post and this "life time" love, it's "Talk too Much". King Pedro certainly wouldn't like a romantic song that melt the coldest heart. I think the song I've chosen TODAY is perfect for a King who went down in Portuguese history as, "say it loud", The Cruel One!

Este look acho-o muito bonito e é tão simples, as riscas nunca estarão fora de moda, são tão bonitas e ficam tão bem nas fotos. Se quiserem uma peça clássica no vosso closet, podem apostar numa camisa de riscas azul marinho! Como gostei tanto deste look, mostro-o em dois ângulos diferentes!
I think this look is very pretty and it's so simple, stripes will never be out of fashion, they're so pretty and look so good in photos. If you want a classic piece in your closet, go for a navy blue striped shirt! As I liked this look so much, I'm showing it from two different angles!

Este foi um look que usei para um almoço de aniversário em família, estava um dia cinzento, por isso o casaco, mas depois o dia ficou lindo e já nem foi preciso, usei um vestido maxi e de lycra para me poder movimentar à vontade e estar confortável. Foi muito divertido estarmos todos juntos!
This was an outfit I wore for a family birthday lunch. It was a gray day, so I wore a jacket, but then the day turned beautiful and I didn't even need it, I wore a Lycra maxi dress so I could move around and be comfortable. It was so much fun being together!
QUARTA / WEDNESDAY
Quanto fotografo os Looks da Semana tenho sempre a companhia deste gatinho, mas ele é muito envergonhado e nunca quer fotografar comigo, mas eu apanhei-o e coloquei-o à força na foto hahaha!! Apresento-vos o Fofinho! É um gato de rua e não se dá muito bem com os humanos, mas eu dou-lhe comida e ele já confia mais em nós, que diga-se passagem, não somos uma raça muito confiável!!!
When I photograph the Looks of the Week I'm always accompanied by this kitten, but he's very shy and never wants to photograph with me, but I caught him and forcibly put him in the photo hahaha!!! Meet Fofinho (Sweetie)! He's a street cat and doesn't get on very well with humans, but I give him food and he trusts us more, which, by the way, we're not a very reliable race!!!
Estas calças em xadrez têm umas cores maravilhosas, dão para combinar com quase tudo, fui ver o arquivo e encontrei estes looks, como podem constatar, podem ser combinadas com um clássico blazer, ou com um biker jacket, ou só com um top, ou ainda com uma simples blusa! Versatilidade não lhes falta, para além de que podem ser vestidas em várias estações do ano!
