Look Nº 561 - (Blonde) Family Tree!

This panel behind me is by the painter António Lino, is placed on the front of the Court of Figueira da Foz. It is a panel that represents the Family Tree of Portugal.

At the bottom of this work, the Family is represented. And, this is where I want to get your attention. Have you noticed the hair color of these figures? They are blondes. After all, the Portuguese are blond ahahahh. I venture to say that this panel more year less year will be pulled from this wall for the reason of being considered racist, with the excuse that it intends to represent justice for white people!!

Even if the artist's intention was purely aesthetic, many artists and their works will be "burned at the stake" of the politically correct. As long as I can, I dye my hair blond, ever since LÓréal decided to remove the word "bleaching" from her facial creams, it won't be long before they finish with the blond hair dye, yes, many people will feel uncomfortable with the hair color!! What a dangerous world this one envisions! And, what do you think of this? Tell me everything in the comments, I would love to know !!

  12. The mural itself is beautiful. I do not know what it represents or the history behind so I can not speak to if and when it would or would not be taken down. But from an artistic standpoint is beautiful.

And love this yellow dress!! Just gorgeous.

  17. I totally love your dress, colour and style, you look lovely in it. I agree with you, it's gone too far and some big companies are trying very hard to show that they are a part of this new movement.

  20. It's a pretty mural, although I don't know the history behind it! i think it's good the world is changing adn acknowledging some of the hurts people have had to put up with in the past - it makes sense to show that we don't stand for things like that nay more!

Thanks so much for joining the #WeekdayWearLinkup! The new link up is live on my blog now, I'd love you to join again. :)

Hope that you had a lovely weekend! :) Despite the wild and wet weather we did get to go out to see the results of our family photo shoot the other week and pick some photos to put up on the wall.
