The Looks of The Week #180

Hello! Welcome to another fabulous Looks of the Week post! This season's big trend is evident in all shop windows and stores, and the craze is so intense that it has led many women to revamp their closets! All this because of a color that had been forgotten: brown! It's everywhere—skirts, coats, pants, knitwear, etc. It also comes in various shades: chocolate brown, caramel brown, honey brown, camel brown! It's impossible to remain indifferent; designers and brands around the world have already been captivated by brown! That's why my blog couldn't let this craze pass without showing you 5 looks that I bought for my closet to inspire you! These are 5 breathtaking looks. Get inspired! I hope you like them as much as I do!

    SEGUNDA / MONDAY

I wore this velvet dress on my birthday. It's a dress that boosts your self-esteem! In this new styling, it defies the passing years and looks impeccable!

 QUARTA / WEDNESDAY

I don't like wearing shorts, especially in summer, so I gave these shorts a try because they're winter shorts, so that this item of clothing wouldn't be missing from my wardrobe! I think the caramel brown of the coat and the camel brown of the shorts go very well together in this new restyling!

  QUINTA / THURSDAY

  SEXTA / FRIDAY

Qual o vosso look favorito?

What is your favorite look? Tell me everything in the comments, I'm curious to know !

Speaking of brown, I would like to introduce you to a typical Portuguese snack: Portuguese roasted chestnuts. In Portuguese, chestnuts are called castanhas (brown because of the colour).

I assure you that they are delicious. Portuguese chestnuts are eaten roasted, after being cracked open, which makes them easier to roast and peel. If you happen to be visiting Portugal at this time of year, this is our autumn snack. You will find them for sale in every Portuguese city! Men and women sell them on the streets, wrapped in paper after roasting! They should be eaten piping hot to the sound of the cry: ‘Who wants hot and tasty, piping hot chestnuts!’. Portuguese chestnuts are so good, so good, you can't even imagine lol!! Give them a try!!

  6. So trendy in amimal prints! Certainly, you know your bags and more. But I am crazy for those black boots! Such awesome tones of browns. Truly you are inspiring! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I did have a wonderful time with family at Thanksgiving. Too much food I couldn't eat, but I loved seeing the little ones and catching up with parents, too. That was before we had snow. It was getting colder then, but by Friday evening the snow started in and went through the night. It is still now and a few snowflakes linger. Our first snow of the season so it is a bit scary to drive in sine we haven't been used to it for so long. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛the day before Thanksgiving..I got a scare at the library. The lights in the building started blinking. I was the only one in back at my computer. Then a recorded voice came over the intercom that to please evacuate the building there had been a fire reported. So I got to go home early. Thankfully, there wasn't actually a fire. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💗💗💗💗💗Thank you for your comments and thank you for being here!

  10. Brown is definitely the color this season, and I love how you've styled it! Those five looks are absolutely stunning. The caramel and camel combination with the winter shorts is surprisingly chic, you’ve convinced me to try brown shorts! I also adore that velvet dress restyling. Great inspiration

  17. Brown is one of my favorite colors, it is very beautiful and easy to combine. All your looks are wonderful but, as I saud in my Insta comment, your Thursday look is my absolute favorite so far.
P.S : roasted chestnuts is one of Italian's favorite snacks on autumn too. Starting on the end of october and until the end of the year there are so many stalls scattered around the markets and cities selling these delicacies.
