Olá! Bem-vindos a mais um fabuloso post dos Looks da Semana! O post desta semana é sobre um assunto que assusta muito especialmente as mulheres e que é a queda de cabelo! Pelo o que o melhor é aceitar isso não como um drama - que é - mas com boa disposição porque de facto não há nada a fazer senão aceitar! O que acontece é que nos tratamentos que faço para a minha doença, o meu cabelo, outrora um espectáculo louro e longo, enfrentou a cruel ironia dos corticoides, esses malditos! Cada fio do meu cabelo, antes um símbolo de beleza, tornou-se numa vítima dessa batalha. Ao encarar a queda expressiva, tomei a decisão radical de o cortar. o que era um ritual tornou-se numa tragicomédia capilar! Um novo capítulo se inicia aqui no blog, com coragem, humor e a beleza que reside na aceitação! Mas, mas só vão ver os looks da semana com o cabelo cortado na próxima semana hahahaha!!
Hello and welcome to another fabulous Looks of the Week post! This week's post is about a subject that scares a lot of women - hair loss! So it's best to accept it not as a drama - which it is - but with good humour because there's really nothing to do but accept it! The thing is, in the treatments I've had for my illness, my hair, once a long, blonde spectacle, has faced the cruel irony of corticoids, those damned things! Every strand of my hair, once a symbol of beauty, has become a victim of this battle. Faced with significant hair loss, I took the radical decision to cut it off. What had been a ritual became a hair tragicomedy! A new chapter begins here on the blog, with courage, humour and the beauty that lies in acceptance! But you won't see the looks of the week with my hair cut until next week hahahaha!!!

I am sorry to read that you are having to deal with significant hair loss, but kudos to you for your spirit! I have been experiencing some hair loss recently, finding a fair amount of hair in my comb each time I use it.
There have been numerous time throughout my life when I have found myself admiring how pretty a woman's long hair looked - only to discover later that it was a wig! I also know that many actors on television and in movies are wearing wigs.
Federica Hyrule, an Italian fashion blogger who used to write the fashion beauty and lifestyle blog 'Vanilla Syndrome' wears wigs in most of her outfit fashion and beauty blog posts.
I thought about getting a new one...

I've also experienced hair loss due to medication and anemia. At one point, my eyebrows were falling off. They still sometimes do, but I cover it with eyebrow shadow.

I'm sure you'll rock the shorter hair.
With shorter hair your curls might be more pronounced.
I always think curly short hair is very beautiful.
As for the outfits...they are all beautiful, but my favourite is Monday- the white coat dress.
I definitely like "Monday" the most.
ResponderEliminarAs for hair loss - it depends on what causes it and how much it falls out.
Small, single strands of hair while washing or combing would not cause me to panic, but hair loss as a result of treatment (chemotherapy) would.
Although, as you mentioned, you have to accept it and approach it cheerfully.
Sooner or later your hair will grow back ;)
