Look Nº 551 - The Pandemic Diary!

The Pandemic is showing us how fragile we all are. And, for those who think they are quite sure about their future and their life, today I give you an example that nothing is guaranteed and the example is as follows:

Bringing children to certain schools, such as the Colégio da Rainha Santa in Coimbra (rich people school in my city) is a symbol of status and of those who have already reached a higher standard of living. I know that parents look for the best for their children, but I'm sorry there are parents who think that because their children attend these schools they are better than others. And, if there is discrimination in Portugal you can be sure that in education there is discrimination, for money and, consequently, for the schools you attend!! And, lamenting the whole situation that our young people and children are going through, the Pandemic situation came to show that we are all equal, everyone was leveled by the same gauge and, everyone is taking classes on the television!! Excuse me but for those who feel and think they are best just by attending a certain school, this makes me want to laugh, so I have to laugh ahahahahhaha!!

There are even those parents who hide their children just because appearances are to be maintained !! Only God for such justice !!

Disclaimer: This post only refers to students of the "home study" program!

PS: Adorei o vestido e a cor. Parabéns pela Modelo que é! :)

  12. I don't like it when someone thinks they're better than others just because they have more.

I love your outfit though. The dress is so pretty.

  18. I have attended both private and public school and the latter was much better than the first so my son is going to public school and having video lessons every day while some of his friends who attend private schools had lessons only twice a week. So public school in Italy is much better than private ones and cost nothing, yay!
I love that red dress Marisa, red suits you well!

    Gostei do vestido. :) Beijinhos

  20. It may sounds cynic but in my opinion many people should never have became parent...
I mean, children are person non accessories to show as another status symbol! And more important, they are person to be, so you as parent have the responsability to introduce in the world the best person possible!
I guess that a lot of people during this pandemic fonted the harsh reality that maybe they are not so capable as parents, after all...
Anyway your dress is stunning, you look really good in red! :D

  21. I love the red dress and the red accessories! Beautiful Marisa.
I'm not a parent, so it's hard to judge the ones who are. One of the responsibilities is for sure picking the right school for your kid.

  24. What a lovely red dress on you! :) I think it's funny, a school doesn't tell you how a person is, you have to meet the person to make an opinion, so I don't think schools matter all that much! :)

Hope that you are having a nice weekend :)
