The Looks of the Week #78

Olá! Bem-vindos a mais fabuloso post dos Looks da Semana! Não posso deixar de assinalar, aqui ni blog, que o Papa Francisco está em Portugal para as Jornadas Mundiais da Juventude. Tem sido um evento lindo e muito emotivo. Eu tenho visto pela televisão e muitas são as vezes em que me comovo, afinal de contas a linguagem do amor é Universal. Este Papa tem demonstrado ser um Papa inclusivo e não esqueço as suas palavras de hoje: "A igreja é de todos! A Igreja é para todos!" Gritou, hoje, para uma multidão de jovens como nunca antes se tinha visto em Portugal! Eu, que também sou uma daquelas pessoas que se sentem excluídas, estas palavras tiveram um significado muito especial. Pena será que quando toda esta onda de amor e compaixão terminar e toda aquela multidão voltar para os seus países e, se esquecer do que foi dito, aqui nestas jornadas, e começar a lixar o colega de trabalho, o familiar mais vulnerável, o vizinho etc.. Na lição destas jornadas que sejamos mais fraternos e menos, não sei bem qual a palavra a empregar, mas que sejamos menos más como pessoas!

Hello and welcome to another fabulous Looks of the Week post! I can't help but point out, here on the blog, that Pope Francis is in Portugal for World Youth Day. It has been a beautiful and very emotional event. I've been watching it on TV and many times I've been moved, after all the language of love is Universal. This Pope has shown himself to be an inclusive Pope and I don't forget his words today: "The Church belongs to everyone! The Church is for everyone!" He shouted today to a crowd of young people like never before seen in Portugal! I, too, am one of those people who feel excluded, and these words had a very special meaning. It is a pity that when all this wave of love and compassion is over and all those people go back to their countries and forget what was said here at these days and start screwing over the work colleague, the most vulnerable family member, etc. in the lesson of these days that we be more fraternal and less, I do not know exactly what word to use, but that we be less bad as people!
