Look Nº 872 - This only happens in Portugal!

Olá, bem-vindos meus caros amigos e leitores! Preparados? Então vamos a isto!

Hello and welcome, my dear friends and readers! The story I'm bringing you today may seem to be about politics, but believe me, it's also about fashion! This crazy story only happens in Portugal. I could laugh at it, but it's so serious that I'm astonished! Are you ready? Let's get to it!

Imagine a parliament member. Not just any parliament member, but one from the CHEGA (radical right) party, that party that talks about ‘morals’ and ‘ethics’. Now imagine that parliament member, defender of law and order, being charged for allegedly being caught stealing suitcases from the baggage belt at Lisbon and Ponta Delgada airports. And, no, it wasn't a mess of suitcases, because 17 suitcases were found in this parliament member's house.

And if you think you've read it all, hang on because there's more to come, and this is where fashion comes in. This entrepreneurial parliamentarian has opened a Vinted account under his own name! To sell the contents of stolen suitcases! That's right! He sold the clothes for 5€ and 20€! But why? I'll tell you all about it!

Now the scariest thing is that this parliamentary deputy turned out to be a petty thief, an amateur who didn't even avoid the airport's video surveillance cameras. What takes my sleep away are those well-dressed parliamentarians who carry suitcases full of business! Parliamentarians who have a stake in law firms and then go on to legislate in Parliament, not in favour of the national interest, but in favour of the companies they defend behind the scenes. They don't get caught on video cameras, but the damage they do to the country is infinitely greater!

Look: Zara

This deputy, who allegedly stole suitcases at airports, turned out to be a kleptomaniac, a sick man at that! But the most serious thing, in my view, despite knowing all this, this deputy remained in Parliament, only leaving because the government of this country collapsed!

Thanks for reading!!!

  2. Oh, there are peculiar people in high places. Seems we had a politician with this kind of life, too. But this one would get in rude confrontations. It seems he did love women's clothes. And I am sure would want this outfit you are wearing. Such majestic photos💛💛💛💛💛💛 Thanks for the story. One might wonder if this Monday will be a change many aren't ready for with the tariffs ahead. All the best to you and your blog 🌸💗💕

  3. Oh my word, that is unbelievable! And to think it's someone elected by the public to represent them, it says a lot about the deluded fools who vote for the far right, doesn't it?
On a brighter note your outfit is fabulous and your hair is gorgeous, you could be in Charlies Angels! xxx

  4. Concordo plenamente contigo!

  6. Oh no, what a story. It's these incidents that weaken our trust in politics.

  7. You have a point Marisa. That man was a petty thief and an amateur. He was a kleptomaniac, as you say- something bad but not nearly as dangerous as some politicians. What is scary that there are members of the Parliament that are not amateur thieves, they are professionals and they steal millions of euros on daily basis.

You look stunning in this professional suited look! Love the bag as well! So pretty.

    Lindo look ❤️ adorei.

  10. A politician stealing suitcases and selling the stuff online? Insane! But even scarier are the politicians who pretend to help us but are really just looking out for themselves.

Love your outfit. That shade of yellow is so pretty.
