Num dos últimos posts desta rubrica, falei que comprar roupa era uma forma pouco cristã de gastar o dinheiro. Desculpem-me esta afirmação, mas tenho de a corrigir, sempre que consumimos estamos a ajudar a pagar salários às famílias. Famílias com casas para pagar, com filhos na escola, nas universidades, portanto, se estamos a ajudar as famílias e estas são o núcleo principal da religião católica, então esse consumo é cristão. Agora, aqueles que querem fazer do dinheiro uma montanha, não ajudando ninguém, esses sim são pouco cristãos. De qualquer forma quando aqueles cristãos que vestem as vestes e batinas, fazem o que fazem, eu recuso-me peremptoriamente a ser católica! Dá-me nojo! Já não bastava o escândalo dos abusos sexuais na Igreja Católica silenciados durante anos e anos por bispos e papas, agora também acobertam outro tipo de crimes e, isso leva-me a pensar que mais farão e que mais escondem? Esta interrogação pode-me conduzir a suicídios provocados... sei lá roubo de identidade! Envergonhem-se do que vestem e não ponham as culpas em mim. As vossas roupas estão sujas como toda a história da Igreja Católica, a Inquisição diz-vos alguma coisa?! Agora, podem-se inspirar nas minhas roupas, elas provocam nos outros o milagre da boa disposição e de boas energias!

In one of the recent posts in this section, I said that buying clothes was an unchristian way to spend money. Please forgive me for that statement, but I must correct it: whenever we consume, we are helping to pay wages to families. Families with homes to pay for, with children in school and college; therefore, if we are helping families—and they are the core of the Catholic faith—then that consumption is Christian. Now, those who want to amass a mountain of money without helping anyone—they, on the other hand, are unchristian. In any case, when those Christians in their robes and cassocks do what they do, I categorically refuse to be Catholic! It disgusts me! It wasn’t enough that the Catholic Church’s sexual abuse scandal was silenced for years and years by bishops and popes; now they’re also covering up other kinds of crimes, and that makes me wonder what else they’re doing and what else they’re hiding? This line of questioning could lead me to think of provoked suicides... or maybe identity theft! Be ashamed of what you wear and don’t blame me. Your clothes are as dirty as the entire history of the Catholic Church, does the Inquisition ring a bell? ! Now, you can take inspiration from my clothes; they bring about the miracle of good cheer and positive energy in others!
